Fixed. One of the airbag or seat belt
pretensioner systems has a fault. Have them checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Under-inflation
Fixed. One or more wheels has
insufficient pressure. Check the pressure of the tyres as soon as possible.
This check should preferably be carried out when the
tyres are cold.
+ Flashing then fixed,
accompanied by the
Service warning lamp. The tyre pressure monitoring
system is faulty.
Under-inflation detection is no longer assured.
Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Passenger's
front airbag Fixed, in the seat belt
and passenger's front
airbag warning lamps
display. The control switch, located in
the glove box, is set to the "
OFF"
position.
The passenger's front airbag is
deactivated.
You may install a rear ward
facing child seat, unless there is
a fault with the airbags (airbag
warning lamp on). Set the control to the "
ON" position to activate the
passenger front airbag. In this case, do not install a
rear ward facing child seat on this seat.

Low fuel level Fixed, with reser ve
level shown in red,
with the display of
a message and an
audible signal. When it first comes on there
remains approximately 6
litres
of fuel in the tank. You must refuel as soon as possible to avoid running
out of fuel.
This warning lamp will come on every time the
ignition is switched on, accompanied by a message
and an audible signal, until a sufficient addition of fuel
is made.
This audible signal and message are repeated with
increasing frequency as the fuel level drops and
approaches "0".
Fuel tank capacity: approximately 56
litres.
Never continue to drive until you run out of fuel as
this could damage the emission control and injection
systems.

The glove box is lit when the lid is opened.
F
W
ith the ignition on, raise the concealing
flap; the mirror is illuminated automatically.
This sun visor is also equipped with a ticket
h o l d e r.
It houses the front passenger airbag
deactivation switch A.
It also gives access to the housing for scented
air freshener B cartridges.
Never drive with the glove box open when
a passenger is at the front – it may cause
injury during sharp deceleration!
Cigarette lighter/12 V
a ccessory socket(s)
You can use this socket to connect a telephone
charger, a bottle warmer, etc.
After use, put the cigarette lighter back into
place straight away.
The connection of an electrical device
not approved by PEUGEOT, such as a
USB charger, may adversely affect the
operation of vehicle electrical systems,
causing faults such as poor telephone
reception or inter ference with displays in
the screens.
F
T
o use the cigarette lighter, press it in
and wait a few seconds until it pops out
automatically.
F

observing the direction of fitment.
The air freshener is ready to operate again.
Recommendations
Do not discard the original cartridge, which
ser ves as a blanking plug if the air freshener is
not used.
Retain the cartridge sealing caps which ser ve
as packaging if the cartridge is not used.
Replacement cartridges are available from
PEUGEOT dealers or from the brand's internet
website. As a safety measure:
-
u
se only the cartridges designed for
the system,
-
d
o not try to fit or remove a cartridge
when driving,
-
d
o not try to refill or dismantle the
cartridges.
Keep cartridges out of the reach of
children or pets.
Do not allow the fluid in the cartridge to
come into contact with the skin or eyes.
In the event of ingestion of the fluid in the
cartridge, consult a doctor, showing them

Airbags
General information
System designed to contribute towards
improving the safety of the occupants (with
the exception of the centre rear passenger)
in the event of violent collisions. The airbags
supplement the action of the seat belts fitted
with force limiters (with the exception of the
centre rear passenger belt).
If a collision occurs, the electronic detectors
record and analyse the front and side impacts
sustained in the impact detection zones:
-
i
n the case of a serious impact, the airbags
are deployed instantly and contribute
towards better protection of the occupants
of the vehicle (with the exception of the
centre rear passenger); immediately after
the impact, the airbags deflate rapidly so
that they do not hinder visibility or the exit of
the occupants,
-
i
n the case of a minor or rear impact or
in certain rollover conditions, the airbags
may not be deployed; the seat belt
alone contributes towards ensuring your
protection in these situations.
The airbags do not operate when the
ignition is switched off.
This equipment will only deploy once. If a
second impact occurs (during the same or
a subsequent accident), the airbag will not
be deployed again.
Impact detection zones
A. Front impact zone.
B. Side impact zone.
The deployment of an airbag is
accompanied by a slight emission of
smoke and a noise, due to the detonation
of the pyrotechnic charge incorporated in
the system.
This smoke is not harmful, but sensitive
individuals may experience slight irritation.
The detonation noise associated with the
deployment of an airbag may result in a
slight loss of hearing for a short time.
Front airbags
Deployment
The airbags are deployed (except the
passenger's front airbag if it is deactivated)
in the event of a serious frontal impact to all
or part of the frontal impact zone A , in the
longitudinal centreline of the vehicle on a
horizontal plane and directed from the front to
the rear of the vehicle.
The front airbag inflates between the thorax
and head of the front occupant of the vehicle
and the steering wheel, driver's side, and the
dashboard, passenger's side, to cushion their
for ward movement. System which protects the driver and front
passenger in the event of a serious front
impact, in order to limit the risk of injury to the
head and thorax.
The driver's airbag is fitted in the centre of the
steering wheel; the front passenger's airbag is
fitted in the dashboard above the glove box.
