Cooled Seats
The cooled seats will only function whenthe engine is running.
To operate the cooled seats, touch thecooled seat symbol on the touchscreen tocycle through the various cool settings andoff. More indicator lights indicate coolersettings.
If the engine falls below 350 RPM whilethe cooled seats are on, the feature willturn itself off. You will need to reactivateit.
Climate Controlled Seat Air FilterReplacement
The climate controlled seat systemincludes air filters. You must replace themperiodically.
The filter is located under each front seat.Access the filter from the second rowfootwell area. Move the front seats all theway to the full front and full up positionsto ease access.
To remove a filter:
1. Turn the vehicle off.
2. Push up on the outside rigid edge ofthe filter until the tabs are released,then remove the filter.
To install a filter:
1. First, position the filter in its housingmaking sure that the far forward endis all the way up in the housing.
2. Push in on the center of the outsideedge of the filter and rotate clockwiseinto the housing until it clips intoposition.

FRONT SEAT ARMREST
Press the button on the right-hand side ofthe seat and pull the seatback down torelease the armrest. You can also gainaccess to the cupholders and seatbackstorage bin.
Pull up on the tab to open the storage bin
Lift up on the seatback to return it to theupright position.
If your vehicle has an under-seat storagecompartment in the seat cushion, lift thelatch to open the lid of the compartment.You cannot open the lid when the armrestis down.
The under-seat storage compartment hasa programmable lock. Use the ignition keyto program the lock to the compartment.You can power or charge electronics usingthe under-seat storage compartmentauxiliary power point. See AuxiliaryPower Points (page 137).

Note:Before you begin the programmingprocess, park your vehicle in front of thegarage door opener motor or other deviceyou want to program.

Note:If you accidently enter the programmode by pressing and releasing the outertwo buttons or all three buttonssimultaneously, do not press any buttonuntil the module times out after a fewseconds and resets to normal mode. Whenthe module has timed out, all three LEDlamps will flash rapidly for a few secondsthen turn off. Any settings should remain aspreviously set.

Rolling Code Programming

1. Switch the ignition on.
2. Press and hold the outer two buttons for1–2 seconds, then release.
Note:You may need a ladder to reach theunit and you may need to remove the coveror lamp lens.
Note:If you cannot locate the learn button,see the Owner’s Manual for your garagedoor opener or call the toll-free help line at1-866-572-2728.
3. Press the learn button on the garagedoor opener motor.
Note:You will have 10–30 seconds tocomplete the following steps.
4. Return to your car.
5. Press and hold the function button youwould like to use to control the garagedoor. You may need to hold the buttonfrom 5–20 seconds, during which time theselected button LED lamp will flash slowly.
6. When the garage door moves, releasethe button within one second. The LEDlamp will flash rapidly until programmingis complete.
7. Press and release the button again. Thegarage door should move, confirming thatprogramming is successful. If your garagedoor does not operate, repeat the previoussteps.

To program another rolling code device,repeat Steps 1 through 6, substituting adifferent function button in Step 5.
Fixed Code Programming
Note:It may be helpful to have anotherperson assist you in programming thetransmitter.
To program units with fixed code DIPswitches, you will need the garage doorhand-held transmitter, paper and a pen orpencil.
1. Switch the ignition on.
2. Open the battery cover and note all theswitch settings from left to right.
•When the switch is in the up, on, or +position, mark down “left button”.
•When the switch is in the middle,neutral, or 0 position, mark down“middle button”.
•When the switch is in the down, off, or– position, mark down “right button”.
3. Press all three function buttonssimultaneously for a few seconds and thenrelease. The LED lamps will flash slowly.
Note:You must complete the followingstep within 2.5 minutes.
4. Enter the corresponding DIP switchsettings from left to right into the systemby pressing and releasing the buttonscorresponding to the settings you noted.
5. Simultaneously press and release allthree function buttons. The LED lamps willilluminate.
6. Press and hold the function button youwould like to use to control the garagedoor.
Note:You may need to hold the buttonfrom 5–55 seconds before observingmovement of the garage door.
7. When the garage door moves, releasethe button within one second. After yourelease the button, the LED lamp will flashslowly.
8. The LED lamp will begin to flash rapidlyuntil programming is complete. If yourgarage door does not operate, repeat theprevious steps. Otherwise, call the toll-freehelp line at 1-866-572-2728.

Erasing the Function Button Codes
Note:You cannot erase individual buttons.
1. Press and hold the outer two functionbuttons simultaneously for approximately20 seconds until the LED lamps above thebuttons flash rapidly
2. When the LED lamps flash, release thebuttons. You have erased all of the buttoncodes.

In-vehicle Programming
This process is to program your hand-heldtransmitter and your in-vehicle HomeLinkbutton.
Note:Put a new battery in the hand-heldtransmitter. This will ensure quicker trainingand accurate transmission of theradio-frequency signal.
1.With your vehicle parked outside of thegarage, turn your ignition to the onposition, but do not start your vehicle.
2. Hold your hand-held garage doortransmitter 1–3 inches (2–8centimeters) away from the HomeLinkbutton that you want to program.
3. Using both hands, simultaneously,press and hold the desired HomeLinkbutton and the hand-held transmitterbutton. DO NOT release either one untilthe HomeLink indicator light flashesslowly and then rapidly. When theindicator light flashes rapidly, you canrelease both buttons. The rapidflashing indicates successful training.
4. Press and hold the HomeLink buttonyou programmed for five seconds, thenrelease. You may need to do this twiceto activate the door. If your garage doordoes not operate, watch the HomeLinkindicator light.
If the indicator light stays on, theprogramming is complete. SeeProgramming Your Garage Door Motorlater in this section.
If the indicator light flashes rapidly for twoseconds and then turns to a constant light,you have not programmed the HomeLinkbutton yet. Do the following:
Press and hold the HomeLink button whileyou press and release the hand-heldtransmitter button every two seconds. TheHomeLink indicator light will flash slowlyand then rapidly once the HomeLinkfunction button recognizes and acceptsthe hand-held transmitter’s radiofrequency signal.
After programming the HomeLink button,begin programming your garage dooropener motor.
Note:You may need a ladder to reach theunit and you may need to remove the coveror lamp lens on your garage door opener.
