❒Re-read messages that have already
been received and saved
❒Make a voice call to the sender of the
text message, by means of the steer-
ing wheel controls or voice commands
❒Delete individual text messages or the
entire SMS inbox, by means of the
steering wheel controls or voice com-
mands.
The Blue&Me™system is also capable of
recognising and reading any abbreviations
and interpreting the most common emoti-
cons (e.g. :-) will be read as “Smiley”) used
up to now in text messages.THE MEDIA PLAYER
The Blue&Me™Media Player allows you
to play digital audio stored on a USB device
over your vehicle's sound system, simply by
connecting it to the on-board USB port.
With the Media Player, you can listen to
your personal collection of music tracks
whilst driving.
❒iPod player – see dedicated paragraph.
With the Media Player, you can:
❒Play digital audio– you can play all
your digital audio files (.mp3, .wma, .wav,
.aac) or play a customised playlist (in
.m3uor .wplformat).
❒Select audio based on category–
you can play all digital audio that be-
longs to a certain category, for exam-
ple an album, an artist or a music genre.
❒Use the playback functions– whilst
playing tracks, you can use functions
such as Play, Stop, Next track, Previous
track, Shuffle and Repeat track.N.B.
The Media Player does not support com-
pressed audio files with other formats and
DRM (Digital Rights Management) pro-
tected audio files. If there are unsupport-
ed audio files on the USB device, they will
be ignored.
To use the Media Player, simply connect
your USB device (directly or with an ex-
tension) to the USB port in the vehicle.
When the ignition key is turned to MAR,
Blue&Me™starts to produce an index
of your multimedia library. When it has
finished, you can navigate around the
whole library and browse categories by
using the steering wheel controls, voice
commands or sound system controls. Af-
ter you have chosen what you want to lis-
ten to, Blue&Me™will play it over the
vehicle's sound system.
