SUN VISOR
Component which protects against sun light
from the front or the side, also equipped
with an illuminated courtesy mirror.


 With the ignition on, raise the con-
cealing l ap; the mirror is lit automat-
ically.
This sun visor is also equipped with a
ticket holder. To avoid any risk of jamming of the
pedals:
- only use mats which are suited
to the i xings already present in
the vehicle; it is imperative that
these are used.
- never i t one mat on top of another.
MAT
Removable component which protects
the carpet against exterior dirt. Refitting
To rei t the mat on the driver’s side:

 position the mat correctly,

 rei t the i xings by pressing,


check that the mat is secured correctly. Fitting
When i tting the mat for the i rst time,
use only the i xings provided in the wal-
let attached.
Removal
To remove the mat on the driver’s side:


move the seat as far back as possible,

 unclip the i xings,

 remove the i xings, then the mat.

Glove box with light
This has an upper open storage com-
partment, a recess and locations for
storing a bottle of water, the vehicle’s
handbook, ...
Its lid has locations for storing a pen, a pair
of spectacles, tokens, cards, a can, ...
It is i tted with a lock.

 To open the glove box, raise the
handle.
It is lit when the lid is opened. Ashtray with light/Lighter

 Raise the lid to gain access to the
ashtray and the lighter.

 To empty the ashtray, after opening,
remove its receptacle.

 To use the lighter, press it and wait
a few seconds until it pops out auto-
matically.

 To connect a 12 V accessory (max
power: 120 Watts), remove the lighter
and connect the appropriate adaptor.
It houses the front passenger air bag
disarming switch
A .
If the vehicle is i tted with air condi-
tioning, it provides access to the ven-
tilation nozzle B , which can be opened
or closed, distributing the same condi-
tioned air as the vents in the passenger
compartment.

Hooked onto the stowing rings, this en-
ables you to secure your luggage.

In the "cabriolet" coni guration, this de-
i nes the luggage space in the boot.
Load space cover
When it has been removed and folded,
the windstop should be stored in its pro-
tective case.
This case can be stored by means of
a strap on the right-hand side of the
boot.

Windstop storage case
When the load space cover is unfolded, the
following conditions must be observed:
- the luggage must not raise the cover, - luggage must not be placed on top
of the cover.
The load space cover must always be
unfolded before a roof opening ma-
noeuvre is triggered (refer to the "Fa-
miliarisation - § Opening" section). For installation of the windstop, re-
fer to the following pages "Fitting/
removing the windstop".

FITTING/REMOVING
THE WINDSTOP
In the "cabriolet" coni guration, the
windstop improves comfort in the pas-
senger compartment.
It is supplied folded in four in its protec-
tive case. Windstop unfolded Fitting

 Clip the ends of the assemby until a
click is heard.

 Unfold the windstop by opening the
two parts to 90° until a click is heard.

 Unfold the windstop frame guides.

 Engage the guides in the points
located behind the rear seat belts.

 Unfold each of the two parts fully.

 Engage the shafts of the windstop
frame in the openings in the rear
side trim.
When installing the windstop for the i rst
time:

 position a size 10 open-ended span-
ner on the hexagonal part of the
shaft,

 tighten or slacken without forcing on
each side to adjust the depth setting.

 Lastly, always check that the wind-
stop is retained securely.
Removal

 Pull on the shaft supports to release
the shafts from the openings in the
rear side trim.

 Proceed in the reverse order to i tting
for the remainder of the removal. Storing

 Store the windstop folded in its pro-
tective case.

 Use the strap intended to secure the
case on the right-hand side of the
boot (refer to the "Boot layout" sec-
tion).
It is not necessary to remove the
windstop when changing to the
"coupé" coni guration.

Deadlocking renders the exterior and
interior door controls inoperative.
It also deactivates the manual
centralised control button.
Therefore, do not leave anyone
inside the vehicle when it is dead-
locked.
If one of the doors or the boot is still
open, the central locking does not
take place.
REMOTE CONTROL KEY
System which permits central unlocking
or locking of the vehicle using the lock
or remotely. It also locates and starts
the vehicle, as well as providing protec-
tion against theft.
Unfolding the key

 First press button A to unfold the
key.
Unlocking the vehicle Unlocking is coni rmed by rapid l ashing
of the direction indicators for approxi-
mately two seconds.
According to version, the exterior
mirrors unfold at the same time.
Locking the vehicle
Deadlocking using the remote
control

 Press the closed padlock to lock the
vehicle.

 Press the closed padlock again
within i ve seconds to deadlock the
vehicle.

 Press the open padlock to
unlock the vehicle.
Unlocking using the key

 Turn the key to the left in the driver's
door lock to unlock the vehicle.
 Press the closed padlock
to lock the vehicle.
Normal locking using the key


Turn the key to the right in the driver's
door lock to lock the vehicle.
Locking is coni rmed by i xed lighting of
the direction indicators for approximate-
ly two seconds.
According to version, the exterior
mirrors fold at the same time.
Unlocking using the remote control Deadlocking using the key

Turn the key to the right again within
i ve seconds to deadlock the vehicle.
