DESCRIPTION
Valve lash is controlled by hydraulic tappets
located inside the cylinder head, in tappet bores
below the camshafts (Fig. 32).
REMOVAL
(1) Disconnect negative battery cab

LUBRICATION/OIL PAN - REMOVAL).
(2) Using special tool VM.1054, remove oil pres-
sure relief valve from engine block (Fig. 75).

engine stand (Refer to 9 - ENGINE - REMOVAL) .
