8. Disconnect the TCS throttle sensor connector and
TCS throttle actuator connector, then remove the
TCS control valve assembly.
Do not disconnect the breather pipe bypass hose.

10. Remove the idler pulley bracket, dipstick and pipe.

hose.
23. Remove the bolt securing the automatic transmis-
sion fluid (ATF) dipstick tube bracket.

Remove the engine wire harness connectors and
wire harness clamps from the cylinder heads and
intake manifold.

25. Remove the inlet pipe mounting bolts from the right
cylinder head cover.
26. Remove the vacuum hoses and breather hose.

Inspection
1. Check engine oil with the engine off and the car
parked on level ground.
2. Make certain that the oil level indicated on the dip-
stick is between the upper and lower marks.
3. If the level has dropped close to the lower mark,
add oil until it reaches the upper mark.
CAUTION: Insert the dipstick carefully to avoid bend-
ing it.
