61. Remove the transmission beam from the body, and
loosen the three bolts on the transmission bracket.

63. Lower the hoist.
64. Raise the chain hoist to remove all slack from the
chain.
65. Check that the engine/transmission is completely
free of vacuum hoses, fuel and coolant hoses and
electrical wiring.
66. Slowly raise the engine approximately 150 mm (6 in).
Check once again that all hoses and wires are discon-
nected from the engine/transmission.
67. Remove the left and right brackets.

Radiator
Cap Testing
1. Remove the radiator cap, wet its seal with engine
coolant, then install it on the pressure tester.
2. Apply a pressure of 93-123 kPa (0.95-1.25 kgf/cm2,
14- 18
psi).
3. Check for a drop in pressure.
4. If the pressure drops, replace the cap.

1. Wait until the engine is cool, then carefully remove
the
radiator
cap and
fill
the
radiator
with
engine
coolant to the top of the filler neck.
2. Attach the pressure tester to the radiator and apply
a pressure of 93-123 kPa (0.95 - 1.25 kgf/cm2, 14 -
18
psi).
3. Inspect for engine coolant leaks and a drop in pres-
sure.
4. Remove the tester and reinstall the radiator cap.
NOTE: Check for engine oil in the coolant and/or
coolant in the engine oil.
