7.Confirm that the number on your devicematches the number on the touchscreen.

APP REQUIREMENTS
When you start an app through the systemfor the first time, you could be asked to grantcertain permissions. You can review andchange the permissions that you havegranted at any time when your vehicle is notmoving. We recommend that you check yourdata plan before using your apps through
the system. Using them could result inadditional charges. We also recommend thatyou check the app provider's terms andconditions and privacy policy before usingtheir app. Make sure that you have an activeaccount for apps that you want to usethrough the system. Some apps will workwith no setup. Others require you toconfigure some personal settings before youcan use them.

Why Maintain Your Vehicle?
Carefully following the maintenanceschedule helps protect against major repairexpenses resulting from neglect orinadequate maintenance and may help toincrease the value of your vehicle when yousell or trade it. Keep all receipts forcompleted maintenance with your vehicle.
We have established regular maintenanceintervals for your vehicle based uponrigorous testing. It is important that you haveyour vehicle serviced at the proper times.These intervals serve two purposes; one isto maintain the reliability of your vehicle andthe second is to keep your cost of owningyour vehicle down.
It is your responsibility to have all scheduledmaintenance performed and to make surethat the materials used meet thespecifications identified in this owner'smanual. See Capacities and Specifications(page 495).
Failure to perform scheduled maintenanceinvalidates warranty coverage on partsaffected by the lack of maintenance.

If you do not use our authorized parts, theymay not meet our specifications anddepending on the part, it could affectemissions compliance.
Convenience
Many dealerships have extended eveningand Saturday hours to make your servicevisit more convenient and they offer one stopshopping. They can perform any servicesthat are required on your vehicle, fromgeneral maintenance to collision repairs.

Change automatic transmission fluid.Every 30,000 mi(48,000 km)

Exceptions
There are several exceptions to the NormalSchedule:
Axle and PTU Maintenance
The Power Transfer Unit (PTU) and rear axle(AWD only) in your vehicle does not requireany normal scheduled maintenance unlessthe vehicle has experienced extendedperiods of extreme/severe duty cycle drivingor the PTU and/or the rear axle has beensubmerged in water. Checking the PTU andrear axle fluid is not necessary unless theunit shows signs of leakage. Contact anauthorized dealer for service.
California Fuel Filter Replacement
If you register your vehicle in California, theCalifornia Air Resources Board hasdetermined that the failure to perform thismaintenance item does not nullify theemission warranty or limit recall liabilitybefore the completion of your vehicle'suseful life. We however, urge you to have allrecommended maintenance servicesperformed at the specified intervals and torecord all vehicle service.
Engine Air Filter and Cabin Air FilterReplacement
The life of the engine air filter and cabin airfilter is dependent on exposure to dusty anddirty conditions. Vehicles operated in theseconditions require frequent inspection andreplacement of the engine air filter and cabinair filter.
