gency call system (EU eCall) is not
av ailable in the United Arab Emirates. The
Mercedes-Benz emer gency call system is availa-
ble for emer gencies.

gency call can be made automatically or
manual ly(see the operating instructions). Only
make emer gency calls if you or others are in need
of rescue. Do not make an emer gency call in the
ev ent of a breakdown or a similar situation.
The ignition must be switched on before an auto-
matic emer gency call can be made.

Data is transmitted during an automatic or manual
emer gency call with the Mercedes-Benz emer-
