headlamps and change it manually if necessar y:
R Ifth eDipped-beam setting (left/right-side

lights, low beam and daytime running lights are
switched on automatically depending on the light
conditions. &

matically if there is fog, snow or other causes

The hazard warning lights will switch on automati-
cally if:
R the airbag has been deplo yed.
R theve hicle is heavily braked from a speed of
more than 70 km/h toa standstill. When
you pull away again, the hazard warning

Depending on theve hicle's equipment, the course
of the lane in which you are driving will also be
ev aluated and the active headlamps function will

ev aluation of theve hicle's cur rent navigation posi-
tion. It will remain active until aTer theve hicle has

zling and impr oves the illumination of the edge of
th e car riag ewa y. The function is automatically activated under
