Hazard warning lamps
Press the hazard warning lamp button (1) to
warn other drivers that you are in particular
driving or traffic conditions, or have to stop in
an unusual place.
When you press the hazard warning lamp
button, all of your E-MEHARI's direction
indicator lamps and the indicator lamp in the
button (1) flash at the same time.
To switch off the hazard warning lamps: press
the button (1) again. In the event of an emergency stop,
always move your vehicle off the
carriageway, where possible, to avoid
the risk of accident.
Use the hazard warning lamps only to
signal unusual action on your part and
only if your vehicle presents a safety
risk to other drivers: an emergency stop
because of a vehicle failure, the need to
drive abnormally slowly, …
While the hazard warning lamps are on,
your E-MEHARI's direction indicators
can no longer be used to indicate
changes of direction.

Horns and audible warnings
Please tell the call handler that your
vehicle is an electric vehicle.
Stay at least ten metres away from your
vehicle when a LMP
® battery warning
has been triggered.
An LMP
® battery is an energy storage
device.
Standard horn
To use the "standard" horn: press the central
hub of the steering wheel.
Horn for pedestrians
Your E-MEHARI is a silent electric vehicle.
It has a special horn for warning pedestrians of
your approach.
To operate this horn: briefly press the horn
control button, the noise of crickets is then
made for a few seconds.
To use the sound continuously, press and hold
the button for 2
s
econds.
The horn can be used at speeds of up to
30
m
ph (50
k
m/h).
Audible warning for a
battery problem
Your E-MEHARI has an audible warning
system should there be a problem with the
LMP
® battery fitted to the vehicle. A message
also appears in the instrument panel
(see page 35).
If operation of this system is triggered (the
audible warning cannot be switched off), you
must stop the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do
so, get out of the vehicle, and call CITRÖEN
ASSISTANCE .
To stop this horn: press the button again. The pedestrian horn does not work
when in reverse.

Do not operate the screenwash for
more than 30
s
econds, as this could
lead to a loss of visibility and cause an
accident.
Do not operate the screenwash control
when the fluid reservoir is empty.
Wiper / Screenwash
Your E-MEHARI has a windscreen wiper.
(1) Windscreen wiper. To operate the wiper: Turn the ring on the right

High voltage safety
This symbol identifies electric components in the vehicle that could present a risk to your safety.
Presentation
Your E-MEHARI is fitted with a LMP® battery that operates at voltages of up to 450V, delivering a
direct current.
The diagram below presents the locations of the different components on your E-MEHARI (LMP
®
battery, drive train, 12V battery, RFID reader).

Incorrect handling could lead to the
creation of an electric arc or electric
shock which could cause serious or
fatal injuries or burns. In the event of a problem with your
E-MEHARI, contact CITRÖEN
ASSISTANCE without delay, either by
telephone or using the blue assistance
button located on the centre console of
your E-MEHARI (see page 9).The servicing and repair of your
E-MEHARI must be entrusted to a

to E-MEHARI
It is recommended that the battery be charged
as often as possible.
With the charge indicator at 100%, if not
charged the LMP
® battery can discharge in
2 d
ays (without using the vehicle).
A hibernation mode is available to reduce
energy consumption from the battery to a
minimum.
In this way you can park your E-MEHARI,
not connected and with no consumption of
electrical energy, for several weeks or even
several months.

At a public or private
charging point
You can charge your E-MEHARI at a public or
private charging point, provided that you have a
suitable cable for the type of charging point.
At home
Using a 16A power point
If you have a 16A charging power point or have
had one installed by an electrician, you can use
it to charge your E-MEHARI.
Using an ordinary domestic
power point (230V/10 -16A)
Your E-MEHARI is supplied with a charging
cable that has CCID electronic protection,
allowing you to charge your E-MEHARI from
any 230V/16A domestic power point that can
support a continuous current of 10A.
Using this solution the charging time is longer
than if charged from a 16A power point.
