- Be careful when adjusting the seat. Adjust­
ing the seat without paying attention can

Entry /exit assistance (second row seats )

Entry/exit assistance creates easier access to the

To be able to enter and exit, you must fold the
backrest on the second row seat down, and then
fold the seat upward.

- If the LED blink s, the backrest is still not in its
end position.
- If the LED turn s on, the backrest is in its end
posi tion.

- Be carefu l when fo lding and unfolding the
backrests. Not paying attention and not
checking when fo ld ing/unfolding the backr­
ests can lead to pinch ing injuries.
- Always pull forward on the backrest to make
sure it is check if it is correctly locked in

- Do not drive if the indicator light in the but­
ton is blinking

- Very low temperatures can cause malfunc ­
t ions when folding and unfolding the backr­
ests . If this is the case, moving the vehicle
to a warmer a rea (such as a garage) will
help.
- T he backrest cannot be fo lded down or up if
the vehicle door on the side to be adjusted is closed .

Adjust the head restraints so the upper edge is as

The 12-volt sockets can be used for electrical ac­
cessories . The power usage must not exceed
120 watts .
There is an additional 12 Volt socket* in the cen ­
ter conso le storage compartment .
A WARNING
The sockets and the electrical accessories con­
nected to them only function when the igni­
tion is switched on . Incorrect usage can lead
to ser ious injuries o r bu rns . To reduce the risk
of injuries, never leave chi ldren unattended in
the vehicle with the vehicle key.

electrica l system, never attempt to charge
the veh icle battery by connecting accesso­
r ies t hat provide power, such as solar pane ls
or battery chargers, to the 12 Volt sockets
or the cigarette lighter.

Configuring the data
connection
Applies to veh icles with Audi co nnect (Infotainment)
The data connection for Audi connect Infotain­
ment services is pre-configured at the factory .
However, if a configuration should be necessary,
you can adjust the following settings.
.,. Select : I MENU I button> right control button>
Connection manager.
.,. Select : right control button > Online settings>
Data connection settings.
Using the Data connection settings menu, you
can set when an Internet connection should be
made . T he Internet connection disconnects auto­
matica lly once the requested Audi connect Info­
tainment service no longer requires any data.
The follow ing settings can be selected:
Audi connect (MMI)
With the Audi connect (MMI) func tion, you can
Allow or Deny the use of Audi connect Infotain ­
ment services if the connection is set to No re­
quest or With request.
Wi-Fi devices*
Using the Wi-Fi devices function, you can Allow
or Deny a connection to the Internet.
A WARNING
-As the driver, do not allow usage of the Wi ­
Fi hotspot to distract you from driving, as
this could increase the risk of an accident .
-It is only safe to use tablets, laptops, mo­
bile devices and other similar devices when
the vehicle is stationary because, like all
loose objects, they could be thrown around
the ins ide of the vehicle in a crash and cause
serious injuries . Store these types of devices
securely whi le driving.
- Do not use any wireless devices on the front
seats within range of the airbags while driv­
ing. Also read the warnings in the chapter
<=> page 2 77, Front airbags.
