(2) Press the SET/- switch to set the Adaptive Cruise Control.
The Adaptive Cruise Control starts to control the vehicle speed.
The set vehicle speed and the SET indicator
is displayed on the meter display. Also, The
set vehicle speed indicator ( mark) will be
displayed.
If no vehicle in front has been detected, the
vehicle drives at the constant speed.
NOTE
When the main cruise control is
turned on by pressing the
(CRUISE) switch, the multi
function display switches to the
EyeSight screen.
To return to the triple meter
clock display, pull the
switch on the steering wheel
toward you.

When a vehicle in front is detected, a buzzer
sounds 1 short beep and the lead vehicle indi-
cator will be displayed.
The vehicle tracks the lead vehicle in front
and maintains the selected following distance.
At this time, the speed upper limit is the set
vehicle speed. If the vehicle in front is no
longer detected, a buzzer sounds 1 short
beep and the lead vehicle indicator turns off.
Operation of Adaptive Cruise Control
xWhen no vehicle in front is detected
The vehicle drives constantly at the set tar-
get vehicle speed between approximately
25 MPH (40 km/h) and 90 MPH (145 km/h).
NOTE
xThe set vehicle speed can be adjusted within the range from 25 MPH (40
km/h) to 90 MPH (145 km/h).
xIf cruise control is set while driving the vehicle at approximately 25 MPH
(40 km/h) or less, the set vehicle speed is automatically set to 25 MPH (40
km/h).
xFor turbo models, if the Adaptive Cruise Control is set while the S# (Sports
Sharp mode) of SI-DRIVE is selected, the shift position indicator will
change from the gear position to the position.
NOTE
The buzzer sound (lead vehicle acquisition sound) that occurs when a vehicle
in front is detected or no longer detected while Adaptive Cruise Control is set
can be turned off by customization.
