Stop the vehicle in a safe place, stop the Plug-in Hybrid EV system, and take a rest.Use this display as rough guide for taking rests during a long drive.The interval from the start of your trip until this message is displayed can be set.Refer to “Changing the time until “REST REMINDER” is displayed” on page 6-19.The display and buzzer alert the driver when the set time is reached. If you continue to drive without having a rest, the buzzer sounds about every 5 minutes to encourage you to take a rest.zIn the following cases, the time driven is reset and the display returns to the previous dis-play screen. Adaptive Cruise Control System (ACC)*7-54 Starting and driving

After cancelling the ACC control (i.e. placingthe system in the ‘standby state’) by pressingthe “CANCEL” switch or depressing thebrake pedal, you can resume the ACC controlat the originally set speed if you push up the“RES -” switch.
Every time you press the following distancesetting switch, the setting changes sequen-tially through three options “Long”, “Middle”and “Short”, cycling back to “Long” after“Short”. The distance setting is reset whenthe operation mode is set to “OFF” or whenthe ACC is set to “OFF,” and is automaticallyset to “long” when you set the ACC to “ON”next time.
Following distance setting: “Long”Following distance setting: “Middle”Following distance setting: “Short”If you hold the “ACC ON/OFF” switchpressed with the operation mode set to “ON”and the ACC in the ‘OFF state’, the cruisecontrol is activated. The information screenof the multi-information display then changesto the cruise control screen and a buzzersounds at the same time.Cruise control is turned off if you set theoperation mode to “OFF”.

Turn the /SEL key to the frequency to lis-ten to.Collective search for stations that can bereceived.Press the SCAN key.When a station is received, this is played for 5seconds, then the product searches for thenext station.
Register the broadcast station in advance, andselect this at a later time.1. Tune in to the frequency to register.2. Hold down any of the keys from the 1RPTkey to the 6 key.A “Beep” sounds, and the preset key isregistered.
The top 6 stations with a strong signal can beautomatically registered in order with presetkeys in the AUTO-P mode.Hold down the AUTO-P key.Switch to the AUTO-P mode, and start auto-matic station selection.After completion of operations, the productwill receive the station registered in the presetkey [1].
