Removing the cartridge
)Stow the black pipe. )Detach the angled base from the whitepipe.)Suppor t the compressor ver tically.)Unscrew the car tridge from the bottom.
Beware of discharges of fluid. The expiry date of the fluid is indicatedon the car tridge.
The sealant car tridge is designed for single use; even if only par tly used, it must be replaced. After use, do not discard the car tridge into the environment, take it to anauthorised waste disposal site or aCITROËN dealer.Do not forget to obtain a new sealant cartridge, available from CITROËNdealers or from a qualified workshop.

Checking tyre pressures / inflating accessories
You can also use the compressor, without
injecting any product, to:
- check or adjust the pressure of your tyres,
- inflate other accessories (balls, bicycle
tyres...).
) Connect the compressor's electricalconnector to the vehicle's 12 V socket. )
Star t the vehicle and let the engine run. )
Adjust the pressure using the compressor
(to inflate: switch Bin position "I"; todeflate: switch Bin position "O"
and pressbutton C ), according to the vehicle's tyre
pressure label or the accessory's pressurelabel.) Remove the kit then stow it.


)Turn the selector Ato the "A ir"position.)Uncoil the black pipe Hfully. )Connect the black pipe to the
valve of the wheel or accessory.
If necessary, fit one of the adaptors
supplied with the kit first.

Changing a wheel
Procedure for changing a faulty wheel for the spare wheel using the tools provided with the vehicle.

The tools are installed in the boot under the floor.
To gain access to them: )open the boot, )lift the boot carpet by pulling the strap
upwards,
)remove the polystyrene storage box,)unclip and remove the box containing the
tools.

All of these tools are specific to your vehicle. Do not use them for other purposes.

Wheel with trim
When removing the wheel, firstdetach the trim using the wheelbrace 1pulling at the valve passage hole. When refitting the wheel
, refit thetrim starting by placing its cut-out at the valve and press around its edge withthe palm of your hand.
3."Bolt cover" tool.
For removing the bolt protectors (covers)on alloy wheels.4.Socket for the security wheel bolts (located
in the glove box).
For adapting the wheelbrace to the specialsecurity wheel bolts (if your vehicle is fitted

The spare wheel is installed in the boot under
the floor.
According to country, you will have either a
"space saver" spare wheel or a temporarypuncture repair kit.
For access to it, refer to the paragraph "Access
to the tools" on the previous page.
Access to the spare wheel
Fitting the "space-saver"type spare wheel
If your vehicle is fitted with alloywheels, it is normal to notice, whentightening the bolts on fitting, that the washers do not come into contact withthe "space-saver" type spare wheel. The wheel is secured by the conicalcontact of each bolt.

)Unscrew the yellow central bolt. )Raise the spare wheel towards you from
the rear.)Take the wheel out of the boot.

Putting the wheel back in place
)
Put the box back in place in the centre of
the wheel and clip it.
) Put the polystyrene storage box back in
place.) Refit the boot floor carpet by lightly folding
it in the middle (refer to the "Boot fittings" section).
)Put the wheel back in its housing.)Unscrew the yellow central bolt by a few
turns then place it in the centre of the
wheel. )Tighten fully until the central bolt clicks toretain the wheel correctly.

On vehicles equipped with a "space-saver" type spare wheel, the punctured wheel can be stowed in place of the"space-saver" wheel; however the boot floor will not then be flat.

Removing a wheel
Parking the vehicle
Immobilise the vehicle where it does not block traffic: the ground must belevel, stable and not slippery. Apply the parking brake, switch off the ignition and engage first gear * to lock the wheels.
If necessary, place a chock under thewheel diagonally opposite the wheel to be changed. It is imperative that you ensure that the occupants get out of the vehicle andwait where they are safe.
Never go underneath a vehicle raised using a jack; use an axle stand.

Remove the chromed bolt cover from each of the bolts using the tool 3 (alloy wheels
only).)
Fit the socket 4 on the wheelbrace 1to slacken the security bolt (if your vehicle isfitted with them).)
Slacken the other bolts using the
wheelbrace 1only.

)Place the jack 2 in contact with one of thetwo front Aor rear B
locations provided on
the underbody, whichever is closest to the
wheel to be changed.

On vehicles fitted with sill finishers, thejacking location is indicated by a markingon the finisher. The jack must be placedcentrally in line with this marking, at the jacking point located behind the finisher and not on the plastic finisher itself.
) Remove the bolts and store them in a clean place. )
Remove the wheel.
)
Extend the jack 2until its base plate is in contact with the ground. Ensure that the centreline of the jack base plate is directly below the location Aor B
used.)
Raise the vehicle until there is sufficientspace between the wheel and the groundso that the spare (not punctured) wheel can
then be fitted without difficulty.

Fitting a wheel
After changing a wheel
To store the punctured wheel in the boot correctly, first remove the centralcover. When using the "space-saver" typetemporary-use spare wheel, do not exceed 50 mph (80 km/h).Have the tightening of the bolts and thepressure of the spare wheel checked by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop without delay. Have the punctured wheel repaired andreplace it on the vehicle as soon aspossible. Do not drive with more than one temporary-use spare wheel fitted to thevehicle at one time.
