it requires a programmed speed of at least
20 mph (30 km/h).
The speed limiter is paused
by operation of the control.
The programmed speed can be exceeded
temporarily by pressing the accelerator firmly
beyond the point of resistance.
To return to the programmed speed, simply release the accelerator pedal until the vehicle returns to the programmed speed limit.
The programmed speed remains in the memory when the ignition is switched off.

Cruise control
System which automatically maintains the speed of the vehicle at the value programmed by the driver, without any action on the accelerator pedal.
The cruise control system cannot, in any circumstances, replace the need to obser ve speed limits, nor can it replace the need for vigilance and responsibility on the par t of the driver.
You are advised to keep your feet near the pedals at all times.
Th
e cruise control is switched on
manually: it
requires a minimum vehicle speed of 25 mph
(40 km/h) and engagement of:
- at least four th gear on a manual gearbox,
- second gear on an electronic or automatic gearbox, in manual driving mode,
- position A
on an electronic gearbox or D
on an automatic gearbox.
The controls o

Displays in the instrument panel
Switching off the ignition cancels any programmed speed value. Th
e cruise control is paused
manually or
by pressing the brake or clutch pedal or
on triggering of the ESP system for safety
reasons.
It is possible to exceed the programmed speed
temporarily by pressing the accelerator pedal.
To return to the programmed speed, simply

Driving
The active cruise control is switched onmanually: it requires that the speed of the vehicle
be between 25 mph (40 km/h) and 90 mph (15 0 km / h), as well as the engagement of:
- at least four th gear with a manual gearbox,
- second gear with an electronic or automatic gearbox in manual mode,
- position A
with an electronic gearbox or Dwith an automatic gearbox.
General points
The active cruise control can above be pausedmanually with the control, or automatically:
- b
y pressing the brake or clutch pedal,
- in the event of operation of the DSC, for
safety reasons,
- in the event of an action of the electric
parking brake control,
- when an inter-vehicle time threshold isreached (calculated according to therelative speeds of your vehicle and the
vehicle in front and the inter-vehicle time setting chosen),
- when the distance between your vehicle
and the one in front becomes to small,
- when the speed of the vehicle in front is to
low,
- when the speed of your vehicle becomes
too low.
The active cruise control cannot in any
circumstances replace the obser vation of speed limits, nor the the vigilanceand responsibility of the driver. It is recommended that you always keepyour feet close to the pedals.
If the speed setting selected is above93 mph (15 0 km/h), the system switches
to normal cruise control operation(a message appears in the instrument panel).
Switching off the ignition cancels any
programmed value, and the inter-vehicle time is reset to 2 seconds.

Lane departure warning system
System which, using a camera which
recognises solid or broken lines, detects the
involuntary crossing of longitudinal traffic lane markings on the ground.
To provide safe driving, the camera analyses
the image then, if the driver's attention drops,
triggers a warning if the vehicle drifts over
a lane marking (speed higher than 50 mph (80 km/h)).
This system is par ticularly useful on motor waysand main roads. A
ctivation and deactivation of the function is done in the " Driving assistance
" menu of the
touch screen tablet.
Activation / deactivation
The driver is aler ted by vibration of the seat belt (at the level of the reel):
No warning is transmitted while the direction indicator is active and for approximately 20 seconds after the direction indicator is switched off.
Detection - alert
The lane depar ture warning systemcannot, in any circumstances, replacethe need for vigilance and responsibility on the par t of the driver.
)Press this button, the indicator lampcomes on. The function is activated )
Press this button again, the
indicator lamp goes off. Thefunction is deactivated
The detection may be impeded:
- if the markings on the ground are worn,
- if there is little contrast between themarkings on the ground and the road surface,
- if the windscreen is dir ty,
- in certain severe weather conditions: fog, heavy rain, snow, bright sunlight or direct exposure to the sun (low sun, leaving a tunnel, ...) and shade. In the event o
f a fault, this warninglamp comes on accompanied by anaudible signal and a message.
Operating fault
Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.
The status of the s
ystem remains in the
memory when the ignition is switched off.

Blind spot sensors
A warning lamp appears in the door mirror on
the side in question:
-
immediately, when being over taken,
- after a delay of about one second, whenover taking a vehicle slowly. This drivin
g assistance system warns the driver
of the presence of another vehicle in the blind
spot angle of their vehicle (areas masked from
the driver's field of vision), as soon as thispresents a potential danger.
Sensors fitted in the front and rear bumpersmonitor the blind spots.
This system is designed to improve safety when driving and is in no circumstances a substitute for the use of the interior rear view mirror and door mirrors. It is the driver'sresponsibility to constantly check the traffic, to asses the distances and relative speeds of other vehicles and to predict their movements before deciding whether to change lane.
The blind spot sensor system can never replace the vigilance and responsibility of thedriver.
Activation of the system is done in the " Driving assistance
" menu, with the ignition on.
)
Press this button to activate the
function; the associated indicator lamp comes on.
This indicator lamp comes on in the
instrument panel.

Driving
To deactivate the system, press
this button a
gain; its indicator lamp goes off as well as theassociated indicator in the
instrument panel. In the event of a fault, the warnin
g
lamp flashes then goes off.
Operating fault
Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or aqualified workshop.
The system is automatically deactivated when towing with a towbar approved by CITROËN.
The system may suffer temporary interference in certain weather conditions (rain, hail...).
In par ticular, driving on a wet surface or moving from a dry area to a wet area can cause false alerts (for example, the presence of a fog of water droplets in the blind spot angle is interpreted as avehicle).
In bad or wintry weather, ensure thatthe sensors are not covered by mud, iceor snow. Take care not to cover the warning zone in the door mirrors or the detectionzones on the front and rear bumpers with adhesive labels or other objects;they may hamper the correct operation of the system. The state o
f the system remains in memory on switching off the ignition.
High pressure jet wash When washing your vehicle, direct the lance at least 30 cm away from the sensors.

Driving
The system is deactivated automatically:
- on switching off the ignition,
- if the engine stalls,
- if no manoeuvre is star ted within 5 minutes
of selection of the t
ype of manoeuvre,
- after a prolonged stop of the vehicle during a manoeuvre,
- if the road wheel anti-spin regulation (ASR) is triggered,
- if the speed of the vehicle exceeds thestated limit,
- when the driver interrupts movement of the steering wheel,
- if the driver presses the Park Assist control.
- after 4 manoeuvre c
ycles,
- on opening the driver's door,
- if one of the front wheels encounters anobstacle.
The operation indicator lamp goes off in the
instrument panel and a message is displayed
accompanied b
y an audible signal.
The driver should then take back control of thevehicle's steering.
Deactivation
If the system is deactivated during a manoeuvre, the drive should reactivate it manually to repeat the measurement.
The s
ystem is switched off automatically:
- when towing a trailer,
- if the driver's door is opened,
- if the speed of the vehicle is above 42 mph(70 km/h).
To switch the system of for a prolonged period, contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
In the event of a fault with the system,
this warning lamp is displayed in the
instrument panel and a messa
ge appears,
accompanied b
y an audible signal.
Operating faults
In the event of a fault with the power steering, this warning lamp
comes on in the instrument panel accompanied by an aler t message.
Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Switching off
If the lateral distance between your vehicle and the space is too great, the system maynot be able to measure the space.
Anything projecting beyond the envelopeof the vehicle (long or wide load) is not taken into account by the Park Assist system during a manoeuvre.
In bad weather or in winter, ensure thatthe sensors are not covered by road dir t, ice or snow.
In the event of a fault, have the systemchecked by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
The indicator lamp
for the function flashes for a few seconds.
If the fault occurs during the use of
the system, the indicator lamp goesoff.

Visibility
Operation of the rear foglamps is inhibited with the tailgate open. Opening the boot when these lamps are on causes them and their indicator lamp in the instrument panel to go off. They do not come back onautomatically when the boot is closed: they must be switched on again using the control stalk.
In good or rainy weather, by both day and night, the front foglamps and therear foglamps are prohibited. In thesesituations, the power of their beams may dazzle other drivers. They should only be used in fog or falling snow.In these weather conditions, you shouldswitch on the foglamps and dippedbeam headlamps manually, as thesunshine sensor may detect sufficient light.Do not forget to switch off the front andrear foglamps when they are no longer necessary.
Switching off the lightingwhen switching off the ignition
When the ignition is switched off, all of thelamps switch off immediately, except for thedipped beam headlamps if automatic guide-me-home lighting is activated.
Switching on the lightingwhen switching on the ignition
To reactivate the lighting control stalk, turn the ring A
to position A"0"- lighting off, thento the position of your choice.
If the lighting is switched on manually after switching off the ignition, there is an audiblesignal when a front door is opened to warnthe driver that they have forgotten to switch
off the vehicle's lighting, with the ignition off.
They switch off automatically after a periodwhich depends on the state of charge of thebattery (entry to energy economy mode).
