CAUTION:
Make sure that turbine revolution sensor securely installs input speed sensor holes (A).
Hang down output speed senso r harness toward outside so
as not to disturb installation of the control valve & TCM.
Adjust A/T assembly harness connector of the control valve
& TCM to terminal hole of transmission case.
Assemble it so that manual valve (1) cutout is engaged with manual plate (2) projection.
- Install bolts and clip (1) to the control valve & TCM. Tighten bolt (E) to the specified torque before tightening the other than bolts.
*: Reamer bolt
Refer to the following when installing oil pan to transmission case.CAUTION:
Clean foreign materials (gear wear particles) that adhere on the inside of the oil pan and on the
magnet, and then assembly.
Completely remove all moisture, oil and old gasket, etc. from oil pan gasket mounting surface of
transmission case and oil pan.
Never reuse oil pan gasket and oil pan mounting bolts.
Install oil pan gasket in the di rection to align hole position.
- Tighten the oil pan mounting bolts to the specified torque in the numerical order as shown in the figure after temporarily tightening
them.

REMOVAL
1. Remove A/T air breather hose.
2. Remove air breather box from A/T air breather hose.
3. Remove clips from bracket.
INSTALLATION
Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
Never bend the A/T air breather ho se to prevent damage to the hose.
Insert A/T air breather hose to air breather tu be all the way to the curve of the tube.
Install A/T air breather hose to A/T air breather tube so that the paint mark is facing upward.
To fix A/T air breather hose (1) to the clip (2), face the A/T air
breather hose paint mark (A) rearward and observe the instal-
lation position shown in the figure.
To install air breather cap (3), face the arrow “ ” (B) toward the right side of the vehic le as shown in the figure.

To fix A/T air breather hose (1) to the clip (2), face the A/T air
breather hose paint mark (A) rearward and observe the instal-
lation position shown in the figure.
To install air breather cap (3), face the arrow “ ” (B) toward
the right side of the vehic le as shown in the figure.
To fix A/T air breather hose (1) to the clip (2), face the A/T air
breather hose paint mark (A) upward and observe the installa-
tion position shown in the figure.

W/L ON HISTORY
Stores histories when warning/indicator lamp is turned on.
“W/L ON HISTORY” indicates the “TIME” when the warning/ indicator lamp is turned on.
The “TIME” above is:
- 0: The condition that the warning/indicator lamp has been turned on 1 or more times after starting the engine and waiting for 30 seconds.
- 1 - 39: The number of times the engine was restarted after the 0 condition.
- NO W/L ON HISTORY: Stores NO (0) turning on history of warning/indicator lamp.
NOTE:
W/L ON HISTORY is not stored for approximately 30 seconds after the engine starts.
Brake warning lamp does not store any history when the parking brake is applied or the brake fluid level gets
low.
