Rear lights
1. Brake lights (P 21 W).
2. Side lights (R 5 W).
3. Fog lamps (P 21 W).
4. Direction indicators (PY 21 W amber).
5. Reversing lights (P 21 W).
Changing bulbs
These five bulbs are changed from outside the boot:
 first open the flap to gain access to the fixing bolt,
 remove the light fixing bolt,
 take out the light from the outside,
 disconnect the light connector,
 remove the light seal,
 press the four tabs and remove the bulb holder,
 turn the bulb one quarter of a turn and change it.
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse order.

Changing the third brake light (diodes)
For the replacement of this type of diodes light, contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Changing the number plate light bulbs (W 5 W)
 Insert a thin screwdriver in one of the exterior holes of the lens.
 Push it towards the outside to unclip it.
 Remove the lens.
 Pull the bulb and change it.

CHANGING A FUSE
Procedure for the replacement of a faulty fuse with a new fuse in order to rectify a failure of the corresponding function.
Access to the tools
The extraction pliers are installed on the back of the fascia fuse box cover.
To gain access to them:
 unclip the cover pulling at the top,
 remove the cover completely,
 remove the pliers.
Replacing a fuse
Before replacing a fuse, the cause of the failure must be identified and rectified.
 Identify the faulty fuse by examining the condition of its filament.
 Use the special pliers to extract the fuse from its housing.
 Always replace the faulty fuse with a fuse of the same rating.
 Check that the number engraved on the box and the rating engraved on the top correspond to the tables which follow.

Engine compartment fuses
The fuse box is placed in the engine compartment, near the battery (left-hand side).
Access to the fuses
 Unclip the cover.
 Replace the fuse (refer to the corre-sponding paragraph).
 When you have finished, close the cover carefully to guarantee the sealing of the fuse box.

BATTERY
Procedure for charging your battery when it is flat or for starting the engine using another battery.
Access to the battery
Starting using another battery
 Connect the red cable to the positive terminal (+) of the flat battery A, then to the positive terminal (+) of the slave battery B.
 Connect one end of the green or black cable to the negative terminal (-) of the slave battery B.
 Connect the other end of the green or black cable to an earth point C on the broken down vehicle, as far as possible from the battery.
 Operate the starter, let the engine run.
 Wait until the engine returns to idle and disconnect the cables.
The battery is located under the bonnet on the left.
To gain access to it:
 open the bonnet using the interior le-ver, then the exterior lever,
 secure the bonnet strut,
 remove the plastic cover to gain ac-cess to the two terminals.
