of the radiator ;
-the oil in the gearbox ;
-the oil in the engine, if necessary.

-the screws that fasten the catalyti c
converter on the stand;
-the pipe-collar between the catalyti c
converter and the trigger ;
-the catalytic converter;
-the anti-swing auxiliary connectin g
rod.

The amount of oil to be introduced in the
engine is 2.7 liters - without replacing the oi l-
filter - or 2.9 liters, after re placing the filter.
The minimum oil pre ssure at 80
o is:
-in the idle mode 1 bar
-at 4000 rot/min 3 bar
The oil pump belongs to the “gearwheel”
type. Take off the cap and a lso the clapper of
the oil-pump.
To check:
* play A (mm): - min. 0.110
- max. 0.294 * play B (mm):
-min. 0.02
- max. 0.86.
CAUTION!
P rotect the distribution and alternator belt in order to avoid water-
or cleaning substance projection on them.

Disconnect the electric connections from the battery.
The fuel supply conduit is uncoupled;
The following are taken off: - air filter;
- the oil-gauge tube;
- the top scre w of the alternator;
- the alterna tor belt;
- the stretching fl ange of the alternator.
The car is suspended.
The electric connectors of the alternator are uncoupled;
Di smount the alternator l ower attachment screw.
Lower the vehicle.
The alterna tor is taken out at the top.

It must be said that in infrequent cases the indication of the faulty cylin-
der is not exac t; the calculator can declare cylinder 1 as not working,
while it is not faulty. So, you have to check this cylinder as a priority,
an d if everything s correct, the other cylinders will be checked. These
indications will only be used if the polluting or destructive combustion
m isfires are present.
SUGGESTION
In this case, the problem is probably caused by an element which acts
only on this cylinder:
- its injector
-the spar k plug of this cylinder
