Vo l u m etric protection checking.
Perform the following checking steps after locking using the RF remote control, the doors, the
engine hood and the hatchback. The operations must be performed in no more than 40 seconds
since the anti i ntrusion system has been activated with the RF remote control; if operating after
these 40 seconds, the siren will start and the turning lights will blink.
Close the door. The sound signal (buzzer)
will stop.
Th e pr oper operation of the anti intrusion system on different situations must be according to
those shown in Table 01. For detecting the causes of possible incidents of the anti intrusion system, perform the checking
steps presented in Table 02.
Lo wer the rear windows with about 10
cm. Close the doors, the engine hood
and the ha tchback.
Check out if there is any movement in
the cockpit.
Ac tivate the system pressing the button
of the RF remote control.
In troduce a hand through the window,
inside the cockpit and move it.
Th e LED indicator will blink quickly,
showing there has been a volumetric
detection and that volumetric sensors are
f unctioning correctly.
Deac tivate the system using the RF
remote contro l, then clos e al l the
vehicle windows.
Reactivate the system and then hit by
ha nd the windows surfa c e of the
vehicle. The LED indicator should
continue to normally blink and the siren
starting shall not occur.
Functional checking of the peripheral
protection.
Close the doors, the engine hood and the
hatchback.
Ac tivate the system pressing the button
of th e RF remote.
The doors will lock and the LED indicator
will blink.
Open a do or with the vehicle key.
The LED indicator will continuously be on,
a nd a sound signal (buzzer) will be heard.
Deac tivate and reactivate the sys tem
w ith the RF remote control.
Deac tivate t he system by pressing the
button of the RF remote control.
The do ors will unlock and t he LED
indicator will go off.
Rep eat a.m. operations for both front
door s, engine hood and hatchback.

If the dismounting / remounting of t he front doors or hatchback contacts,
check aft er that , the correct operation of the anti intrusion system.
LEFT SIDE VOLUME SENSOR REPLACEMENT
If sensor replacement is required, proceed as follows:
- take out carefully the sensor from its support by detaching from clips;
- dismount the attachment screw of the sensor support on the front left pillar upholstery.
- dismount the three attachment screws of the upper upholstery of the front left pillar and
carefully remove the upholstery;
- carefully disconnect the sensor connector from the vehicle’s wiring;
- mount the new volume sensor and its support performing the above mentioned operations
in reverse order, and then checking the proper operation of the anti intrusion system.
AT TENT ION
Be sure that the v olume sensor mounted on the l eft side has marked the
letter “T ” on the red colour collar.
Mo unt the volume sensor in such way, to be oriented towards the back of the vehicle,
parallel wi th the side windows.
RIGHT SIDE VOLUME SENSOR REPLACEMENT
If sensor replacement is required, proceed as follows:
- take out carefully the sensor from its support by detaching from clips;
- dismount the attachment screw of the sensor support on the front right pillar upholstery.
- dismount the three attachment screws of the upper upholstery of the front right pillar and
carefully remove the upholstery; - carefully disconnect the sensor connector from the vehicle’s wiring;
- mount the new volume sensor and its support performing the above mentioned operations
in reverse order, and then checking the proper operation of the anti intrusion system.
AT TENT ION
Be sure that the volume sensor mounted on the right side has marked t he l etter
“R” on the white colour collar. Mo unt the volume sensor in such way, to be oriented t owards the bac k of the v ehicle,
parallel wi th the side windows.
