SUGGESTIONS
31.
Connect the tester and select “Test of ignition”.
Watch the indications and replace the necessary parts.
Connect the tester and select “Test of compression”.
Watch the indications and replace the necessary parts.
Connect the tester and check the cogs of the flywheel.
Remedy if necessary.
If no defect is found ou
t, then there is a problem with the fuel-supply circuit. You must
check:
-p etro l filter
-f low and pressure of fuel
-condition of petrol pump
- if there are impurities inside the tank
-condition of injectors.
Remedy the elements of the fuel-supply circuit that are faulty.
Note down other functional defects.
Erase the defec ts memorized by the calculator.

PARAM ETERDETONATION SIGNAL
SUGGESTIONSNo defect should be present or memorized
The de tonation sensor should generate a signal, the amplitude of which must differ from 0,
a proof of the fact that it perceives the mechanical vibrations of the engine.
If th e signal = 0:
- check if the sensor is well fixed
- ch eck the insulation and continuity of cabling along the circuits:
pin 20 of calculator
♦ pin 1 of detonation sensor
pin 79 of calculator
♦ pin 2 of detonation sensor
pin 19 of calculator
♦ pin 1 of detonation sensor screening.
Replace detonation sensor if necessary.

ADAPTATION OF ENRICHMENT IN IDLE MODE
SUGGESTIONS No defect should be present or memorized.
Do initialization.
Ma
ke sure the canister draining valve is watertight.
Erase memo ry o f th e injection calculator.
With the engine hot, in the stage of the idle mode adjustment, watch these parameters and
notice:
- if one of the parameters drifts to the MAX limit, then there is no enough petrol
- if one of the parameters drifts to the MIN limit, then there is too much petrol.
Ensure the cleanness and the good functioning of:
- p etrol filter
- petr ol pump
- petrol supply circuit
- petr ol tank.
AFTER REPAIR Perform again the conformity test.

MASTER VAC 7 SERVO M ECHANISM
The ” Master-Vac 7” servobrake is a brake booster with the objective of reducing the driver
effort on the brake pedal.
AT TENT ION
The servobrake cannot be repaired.
The only items of the servobrake which are to be replaced are the air filter and the retainer
valve.
DISMOUNTING
Close the pipe between the brake fluid reservoir and the clutch transmitter cylinder by means
of the MOT 453 device.
Drain the liquid out of the reservoir.
Disconnect from the reservoir the feeding pipe of the clutch transmitter cylinder. SERVOBRAKE
OBSERVAT ION
In case one circuit is damaged, the pedal stroke shall be longer, the braking being
done only by the circuit still working.
