When you decide its safe to lift the hood, heres what
youll see:
A. Coolant Surge Tank with Pressure Cap

COOLANT LEVEL message on the Driver Information
Center. If it is, you may have a leak in the radiator
hoses, heater hoses, radiator, water pump

If you havent found a problem yet, but the coolant level
isnt at or above the fill mark at the forward edge of the
surge tank, add a 50/50 mixture

cap when the cooling system, including the coolant
surge tank pressure cap and upper radiator hose, 
is no longer hot. Turn the pressure cap slo

start the engine and let it run until you can feel the
upper radiator hose getting hot. Watch out for the
