6. Remove the seat squab cover.
Remove the seat headrest guides.

7. Remove the seat squab heater element.
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Remove rear heel boards.
2. Remove rear seat cushion.
3. Remove rear seat belt escu tcheon. Refer to 76.73.18.
4. Fully lower headrests.
5. Remove rear seat squa b. Refer to 76.70.38.

6. Place seat squab inverted on clean work surface and remove
headrest retaining clips.
7. Withdraw headrest from seat squab.
1. Position headrest fully lowered on seat squab.
2. Fit and fully seat headrest retaining clips.
3. Fit rear seat squab asse mbly. Refer to 76.70.38.
4. Fit rear seat belt escutc heons. Refer to 76.73.18.
5. Fit rear seat cushion. refer to 76.70.37.
6. Fit rear heel boards.
7. Raise headrests to original positions.

Safety Belt System - Rear Safety Belt Retractor

1. Remove rear seat cushion. Refer to 76.70.37.
2. Remove rear headrests.

3. Slacken and remove bolt securi ng lower anchor to front of
inner wheel arch.

4. Slacken and remove bolt securing belt buckle cable to seat
pan and remove belt buckle assembly from vehicle.

5. Remove escutcheon.
1. Using a flat-bladed screwdriver in the two rectangular apertures, carefully withdraw
escutcheon from top of seat squab.
2. Remove escutcheon from belt via split in moulding.
6. Pass seat belt lower anchor plate and tongue through squab
aperture.
