DTC P1780 Park/Neutral Position Switch Malfunction
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The park/neutral position switch detects the shift lever position and sends\
signals to the ECM.
The ECM receives signals (NSW, R, 2 and L) from the park/neutral position switch. When the signal is\
not
sent to the ECM from the park/neutral position switch, the ECM judges th\
at the shift lever is in D position.

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The O/D main switch contacts go off when the switch is pushed in and come on when it is pushed once again.\
In O/D main switch OFF position, the O/D OFF indicator lights up, and the \
ECM prohibits shifting to O/D.

ABS Warning Light Circuit
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
If the ECU detects trouble, it lights the ABS warning light while at the same time prohibiting ABS control. At
this time, the ECU records a DTC in memory. After removing the short pin of the DLC1, connect terminals
Tc and E
1 of the DLC1 to make the ABS warning light blink and output the DTC.
