INSPECTION 
1. Check the following and replace any faulty parts. 
(1) Distorted or damaged oil pump body or cove

Assemble the pump as follows. 
Oil Seal 
1. Apply engine oil to the pump body and the out-
side of the new oil seal. 2. Press in the oil seal.
