6. Raise the upper arm to free the

ball joint stud from the spindle. Wire

the upper end of the spindle to the un-

derbody to prevent damage to the

brake hose.

the caliper over the rotor and install

the attaching bolts. Torque the bolts

to specification (Part 3-13). Install the

lower end of the ball joint remover

tool, and position the tool as in Fig.
