Your new diesel engine will feel, drive andfunction somewhat differently than agasoline engine. Therefore it is veryimportant that you read and thoroughlyfamiliarize yourself and others operatingthe vehicle with this guide. There is aspecial procedure for turning off the dieselengine. See Starting a Diesel Engine(page 103). It is important to read andunderstand this material in order tomaintain the best service life for yourengine.
