After screens have been added, use thecontrols on the steering wheel to view eachtrip screen.

RESETTING THE TRIP
COMPUTER
1.Use the instrument cluster displaycontrols to navigate the home screen.
2.Select the trip screen you want to reset.
3.Press and hold the OK button until thesystem reset confirmation appears.
TRIP DATA
Trip 1 and 2
Provides trip timer, trip average fueleconomy and total trip distance traveled.
Note:Trip 1 and 2 are selectable screens.See Accessing the Trip Computer (page146). See Accessing the Trip Computer(page 146).

WHAT IS THE HEAD UP
DISPLAY
The system displays information on adisplay screen in your field of vision,allowing you to keep your eyes on the road.You can select which information thesystem displays.
SWITCHING THE HEAD UP
DISPLAY ON AND OFF
1.Using the instrument cluster displaycontrols on the steering wheel, selectHUD.
2.Switch Head-Up Display (HUD) on oroff.
Note:The system remembers the lastsetting when you start your vehicle.
HEAD UP DISPLAY SETTINGS
1.Using the instrument cluster displaycontrols on the steering wheel, selectHUD.
Note:If HUD On is unchecked, otheroptions of the system are hidden.
You can adjust the following settings in theHUD menu:
•Content.
•Brightness.
•Vertical position.
•Image rotation.
•Drive mode layout.
Note:The head up display menuautomatically closes after a certain periodof inactivity.
Note:The head up display image brightnessautomatically adjusts to the brightness ofthe ambient environment. You have theability to adjust the brightness furtheraccording to your preference.
Note:In some instances, sunlight can causesome reflections in and around the head updisplay image.
Note:When you save a memory presetposition, your current HUD settings are alsosaved to that memory preset position. SeeMemory Function (page 177).

The system is malfunctioning or somethingis obstructing the display. Make sure thatthe head up display is free from obstruction.If the message continues to appear, haveyour vehicle checked as soon as possible.

Press the button on the steering wheel orcenter console. The head up display menuappears in the instrument cluster display.Make sure the blue frame is fully visible. Donot manually move the screen. This cancause damage not covered by your vehicle'swarranty.

Press the heated seat symbol on theclimate controls or touchscreen to cyclethrough the various heat settings and off.The more indicators that display, thewarmer the temperature of the seat.
Note:The heated seats may remain onafter you remote start your vehicle, basedon your remote start settings. The heatedseats may also turn on when you start yourvehicle if they were on when you switchedyour vehicle off.
VENTILATED SEATS (IF EQUIPPED)
VENTILATED SEAT PRECAUTIONS
Do not:
•Spill liquid on the front seats. This maycause the air vent holes to becomeblocked and not work properly.
•Place cargo or objects under the seats.They may block the air intake causingthe air vents to not work properly.
SWITCHING THE VENTILATEDSEATS ON AND OFF
The vehicle must be running to use thisfeature.
Press this symbol on the climate controlsor the touchscreen to cycle through thevarious ventilation settings and off. Moreindicator lights indicate higher fan speeds.
Note:When you switch the climate controlfan speed and the ventilated seats to theirmaximum settings, the ventilated seatsprovide increased cooling.
If the engine falls below 350 RPM whilethe ventilated seats are on, the featureturns itself off unless the vehicle is inAuto-Start-Stop mode. You may need toreactivate the ventilated seats.
Note:The ventilated seats may remain onafter you remote start your vehicle, basedon your remote start settings. The ventilatedseats may also turn on when you start yourvehicle if they were on when you switchedyour vehicle off.

WHAT IS THE REAR
OCCUPANT ALERT SYSTEM
The rear occupant alert system monitorsvehicle conditions and notifies you to checkfor rear seat occupants when you switchthe ignition off. The notifications can be inthe form of warnings inside the vehicle andsounding of the horn if activated for a shortperiod of time.
HOW DOES THE REAR
OCCUPANT ALERT SYSTEM
WORK
The system monitors the activity of thebuckle on the rear seatbelt and theopening and closing of the rear doors toindicate the potential presence of anoccupant in the rear seat.
When Child Seat Installed is selected, thesystem monitors only the opening andclosing of the rear doors to indicate thepotential presence of an occupant in therear seat.
When Child Seat Installed is not selected,the system monitors the rear seatbeltbuckle activity and the opening and closingof the rear doors to indicate the potentialpresence of an occupant in the rear seat.
A message displays in the touchscreen andan audible warning sounds when youswitch the ignition off after any of thefollowing conditions have been met:
•A rear door is opened or closed whilethe ignition is on.
•You switch the ignition on within 15minutes of a rear door opening andclosing.
•You switch the ignition on within 15minutes of the alert having displayedor sounded.
If you do not open a rear door within a shortperiod of time of the message appearingin the center display, the first audiblewarning sounding and driver door open toclose, the horn sounds for a short periodof time.
Note:Horn sounds only when the RearOccupant Alert is set to Alert & Horn. Ifyou change the setting, then there is no hornsound.
REAR OCCUPANT ALERT
SYSTEM PRECAUTIONS
WARNING: On hot days, thetemperature inside the vehicle can risevery quickly. Exposure of people oranimals to these high temperatures foreven a short time can cause death orserious heat related injuries, includingbrain damage. Small children areparticularly at risk.
WARNING: Do not leave childrenor pets unattended in your vehicle.Failure to follow this instruction couldresult in personal injury or death.
REAR OCCUPANT ALERT
SYSTEM LIMITATIONS
The system does not detect the presenceof objects or passengers in the rear seat.It monitors the activity of the buckle on therear seatbelt and the opening and closingof the rear doors.
Note:It is possible to receive an alert whenthere is no rear seat occupant, but alertconditions are met.

Note:It is possible to receive no alert whenthere is an occupant in the rear seat, if alertconditions are not met. For example, if a rearseat occupant does not enter the vehiclethrough a rear door.
REAR OCCUPANT ALERT
SYSTEM SETTINGS
1.Press Settings on the touchscreen.
2.Press Vehicle.
3.Press Rear Occupant Alert.
4.Select Alert & Horn or Alert Only orOff.
Note:The default setting is Alert Only.
Note:If you choose Alert Only, the horndoes not sound even when the alertconditions are met.
Note:Performing a master reset causes thesystem to switch on again.
Switching Child Seat Installed Onand Off
When the system is switched on, itmonitors the opening and closing of therear doors to indicate the potentialpresence of an occupant in the rear seat.
1.Press Settings on the touchscreen.
2.Press Vehicle.
3.Press Rear Occupant Alert.
4.Switch Child Seat Installed on or off.
Note:The default setting is on.
Switch the system on when the childrestraint is mounted on any of thefollowing:
•Forward facing seat.
•Rear facing seat.
•Toddler in a latch system baby seat.
Switch the system off when the child isusing any of the following:
•Seatbelt.
•Booster seat.
Semiannual Reminder
When you switch the system off, amessage appears every six months as areminder that the system is off. You canswitch the system back on or leave it off.
