AIRMATIC is an air suspension system with varia-
ble damping for impr oved driving comfort. The all-
ro und le vel control system ensures the best possi-
ble suspension and constant ground clearance,
ev en with a laden vehicle. When driving at speed,
th eve hicle is lo wered automatically toimpr ove
driving saf ety and toreduce energy consumption.
Yo u also ha vethe option of manually adjusting the
ve hicle le vel.
AIRMATIC includes thefo llowing components and
functions:

R ADS PLUS (Adaptive Damping System with
constant damping forc e adjustment) R
speed-dependent lo wering of theve hicle le vel

(/ page 271), the image from there ve rsing cam-
era is automatically displa yed in the central dis-
play when reve rsege ar is engaged.
The reve rsing camera is only an aid. It is not a
substitute foryo ur attention tothe sur roundings.
The responsibility for safe manoeuvring and par k-
ing remains with you. Make sure that there are no
persons, animals or objects etc., in the manoeu-
vring area while manoeuvring and parking.

R The tailgate is open.
R The weather conditions are poor, e.g. heavy

R The light conditions are poo r,e.g. at night or if
light is shining into the camera.
R The camera lens is obstructed, dirty or misted

R The camera or rear of your vehicle is dam-
aged. In this case, ha vethe camera and its
position and setting checked at a quali/ed
specialist workshop.
R The de tection range is limited byadditional

The 360° Camera is a system that consists of
fo ur cameras which co verth e immediate sur-
ro undings of theve hicle. The cameras assist you
when you are parking, fore xamp le, or at exits with
re duced visibility.

The 360° Camera includes thefo llowing cameras
and evaluates their images:
