updates. For automatic online updates, your
ve hicle must ha vea permanent lyins talled
communication module.

u can start the software update manually
via the sy stem settings. If automatic software
updates are activated, the sy stem updates
will be downloaded automatically . Settings
fo r automatic software updates can also be
made in the sy stem settings.
The multimedia sy stem pr ovides a cor responding
message when a sy stem update is available.

Deep sy stem updates
Deep sy stem updates access vehicle or sy stem
settings and can therefore only be car ried out
when theve hicle is stationary and the ignition is
switched off.
When the download of a deep sy stem update is
comple teand the downloaded sy stem update is
re ady for ins tallation, you will be notified, for
ex ample, af terth e next ignition cycle.
