tem
The vehicle's high- voltage on-board electrical
system is under high voltage. If you modify
component parts in theve hicle's high- voltage
on-board electrical system or touch damaged
component parts, you may be electrocuted. In
addition, modi/ed and/or damaged compo-
nents may cause a /re.
In theeve nt of an accident or impact tothe
ve hicle underbod y,components of the high-
vo ltage electrical system may be damaged
although the damage is not visible. #
Never make any modi/cations tothe
high- voltage on-board electrical system. #
Do not switch on or use theve hicle if its
high- voltage on-board electrical system
components ha vebeen modi/ed or dam-
aged. #

th e high-voltage on-board electrical sys-
te m. #
ATer an accident, do not touch any com-
ponents of the high-voltage on-board
electrical system. #

Have the components of the high-voltage
on-board electrical system checked at a
qu ali/ed specialist workshop and
re placed if necessar y. The components of
the high-voltage on-board
electrical system are mar ked with yellow warning
stic kers. The cables of the high-voltage on-board
electrical system are orange. Ve
hicles with an elect ric mo torge nerate signi/-
cant lyless vehicle noise emissions than vehicles
with combustion engines. As a result, your vehicle
may not be heard by otherroad users in cer tain
situations. This can occur, forex ample, when you
are parking and your vehicle cann otbe seen by
ot her road users. This requ ires youto adopt a par-
ticular lyanticipatory driving st yle, as it is neces-
sary toallow forth e possibility that other road

an aid. The driver of theve hicle bears responsibil-

based on the actual operating conditions and/or

In cer tain accident situations, the actuation of the
active bonnet reduces therisk of injury topedes-
trians. The rear area of the bonnet is raised by
appr oximately 70 mm.

Allow the drive system tocool down and

With your hand 0at, push down active bonnet

In doing so, the actuator is depressurised and
yo u may hear a hissing sound.
The engine bonnet must engage in position. #
If active bonnet 1can be raised slightly at
