Service mode
When Service Required is set, the
remaining distance/time before serv-
ice is required appears on the LCD
screen.
From the point at which the remain-
ing distance to drive amounts to 900
mi. (1,500 km) or the remaining time
amounts to 3 days, the Service
Required message automatically
displays and remains on the LCD
screen for a number of seconds
every time the engine start/stop but-
ton is ON.

AUTO HOLD IndicatorLight (if equipped)
This indicator light illuminates:
[White] When you activate the auto hold system by pressing the AUTO
HOLD button.
[Green] When you stop the vehicle completely by depressing the
brake pedal with the auto hold sys-
tem activated.
[Yellow] When there is a malfunc- tion with the auto hold system.
In this case, have the vehicle
inspected by an authorized K900
Kia dealer.

LKA(Lane Keeping
Assist) indicator
The LKA indicator will illuminate
when you turn the lane keeping
assistant system on by pressing the
LKA button.
If there is a problem with the system,
the yellow LKA indicator will illumi-
nate.

When the light from on-com-
ing or front vehicle is poor
When the light from the on- coming or front vehicle is notdetected because of lampdamage, or because it is hid-den from sight, etc.
When the lamp of the on-com- ing or front vehicle is coveredwith dust, snow or water.
When the front vehicle’s head- lamps are off but the foglamps on and etc.
When external conditions

When there is a a lamp that has a similar shape as a vehi-cle’s lamps.

Turn signals and lane change
signals
The ignition switch must be on for the
turn signals to function. To turn on
the turn signals, move the lever up or
down (A). The green arrow indicators
on the instrument panel indicate
which turn signal is operating.
They will self-cancel after a turn is
completed. If the indicator continues
to flash after a turn, manually return
the lever to the OFF position.
To signal a lane change, move the
turn signal lever slightly and hold it in
position (B). The lever will return to
the OFF position when released.

Do not disassemble a front view camera temporarily fortinted window or attachingany types of coatings andaccessories. If you disassem-ble the camera and assembleit again, take your vehicle toan authorized K900 Kia dealerand have the system checkedto need a calibration.
When you replace or reinstall the windshield glass, or frontview camera, take your vehicleto an authorized K900 Kiadealer and have the systemchecked.
Be careful that water doesn’t get into the High Beam Assistunit and do not remove ordamage related parts of theHigh Beam Assist system.
Do not place objects on the crash pad that reflect light suchas mirrors, white paper, etc. Thesystem may not be able to func-tion if sunlight is reflected.
