Depending on whatt he customer service rep-
resentative agree dwith you ,the voice connec-
tion is re-establisheda fter the transfer is com-
plete. If necessary ,you wil lbecontacted at a
later time by another means, e.g. by e-mail or
phone.
Another function of the VehicleH ealth Check is
the transfer of service data to the Customer
Assistance Center. If aservice is due ,the display
shows amessage to this effect together with
informatio nabout any specialo ffers at your
workshop.

Downloading routes
Downloading routes allows you to transfer and
save predefined routes in the navigation sys-
tem.
Aroute can be prepared and sent by either a
customer service representative or under "Own-
ers Online" at http://www.mbusa.com.
Each route can includ euptofour way points.
Once aroute has been receivedbyt he naviga-
tion system, you wills ee theDo
youwanttostart route guidance?D estinationReceived destination has been saved
in "Previousdestinations".message on
the multimedia system display.
The route is saved.
XTo start route guidance: selectYes.
An overviewoft he route is shown in the dis-
play.
If you select No
,the saved route can be called
up later in the navigation menu.
XSelect Start.
Route guidance starts.
Downloaded and saved routes can be called up
again.
Speed alert
You can define the upper speedl imit, which
must not be exceededbyt he vehicle.
If this selected speedise xceededbythe vehicle,
am essage wil lbesent to the Customer Assis-
tance Center. The Customer Assistance Center
then forwards this informatio ntoyou.
You can select the way in which you receive this
informatio nbeforehand. Possible options
includ etext message, e-mail or an automated
call.
The data you receive contains the following

Geo fencing
Geo fencing allows you to select area swhich the
vehicles hould not enter or leave. You wil lbe
informed if the vehiclec rosses the boundaries
of the selected areas. You can select the way in
which you receive this informatio nbeforehand.
Possible options includ etext message, e-mail or
an automated call.
The area can be determinedase itheracircle or
ap olygon with amaximu moften corners. You
can specify up to ten area ssimultaneously.D if-
ferent settings are possible for each area.

Online" at http://www.mbusa.com.
Alternatively, you can trigger an MB Info call and
inform the customer service representative that
you wishtoa ctivate geo fencing.
