The high beam indicator will light when
the headlight high beams are switched on. To prevent the battery from being
discharged, do not leave the lights on
for a prolonged time while the engine is not running.

- The map lamp and room lamp comes on when a door is opened.
The lamps go out after approxi‐
mately 30 seconds.
- The map lamp and room lamp comes on for approximately 30
seconds when doors are unlocked
with a transmitter or smart key as
long as the doors are not opened.
- The map lamp and room lamp will stay on for approximately 20 mi‐
nutes if a door is opened with the
ignition switch in the ACC or
LOCK/OFF position.
- The map lamp and room lamp will stay on continuously if the door is
opened with the ignition switch inthe ON position.
- The map lamp and room lamp will go out immediately if the ignition
switch is changed to the ON posi‐
tion or all doors are locked.
- To turn off the DOOR mode, press the DOOR button (2) once again
(not pressed).

Fan speed control
The fan speed can be set to the desired
speed by operating the fan speed con‐ trol knob.
The higher the fan speed is, the more
air is delivered. Pressing the OFF button turns off the
fan.
Air conditioning (A/C)
Press the A/C button to turn the air
conditioning system on (indicator light will illuminate).
Press the button again to turn the air
conditioning system off.

through the front or side windows.
To use the sunvisor, pull it downward.
To use the sunvisor for the side win‐ dow, pull it downward, unsnap it from

The steering wheel locks to protect
against theft. The ignition key can be removed only in the LOCK position.
ACC (Accessory)
The steering wheel is unlocked and
electrical accessories are operative.
NOTICE
If difficulty is experienced turning
the ignition switch to the ACC posi‐
tion, turn the key while turning the
steering wheel right and left to re‐
lease the tension.
ON
The warning lights can be checked be‐
fore the engine is started. This is the normal running position after the en‐
gine is started.
Do not leave the ignition switch ON if
the engine is not running to prevent battery discharge.
START
Turn the ignition switch to the START
position to start the engine. The engine will crank until you release the key;
then it returns to the ON position. The
brake warning light can be checked in this position.
WARNING

•Never turn the ignition switch toLOCK or ACC while the vehicle ismoving. This would result in loss ofdirectional control and brakingfunction, which could cause an ac‐cident.
