Display
The display of the ECO PRO driving style analjysis consists of a symbolized route and alookup table.
The road symbolizes the efficiency of the drivj
ing style. The more efficient the driving style,
the smoother the depicted route becomes, arj
row 1.
The table of values contains stars. The more
efficient the driving style, the more stars are inj
cluded in the table, arrow 2, and the faster the
bonus range increases.
If, on the other hand, the driving style is ineffij cient, a more wavy road and a reduced number

Follow the fuel recommendation, refer to
page 262, prior to refueling.
In vehicles with a diesel engine, the filler neck
is designed for refueling at diesel fuel pumps.

With a driving range of less than
30 miles/50 km the engine may no longer have
sufficient fuel. Engine functions are not enj sured anymore. There is a risk of damage to
property. Refuel promptly.'

ClosingWARNING
The retaining strap of the fuel cap can be
jammed and crushed during closing. The cap cannot be correctly closed. Fuel or fuel vapors
can escape. There is a risk of injury or risk of damage to property. Pay attention that the rejtaining strap is not jammed or crushed whenclosing the cap.'

recommendation
General
information Depending on the region, many gas stations
sell fuel that has been customized to winter or
summer conditions. Fuel that is available in
winter, for instance helps make a cold start
easier.
Gasoline
General
information For the best fuel efficiency, the gasoline
should be sulfur-free or very low in sulfur conj tent.
Fuels that are marked on the gas pump as conj taining metal must not be used.
Fuels with a maximum ethanol content of 10 %, i. e., E10, may be used for refueling.
Ethanol should meet the following quality stanj dards:
US: ASTM 4806mxx
CAN: CGSB-3.511mxx
xx: comply with the current standard in each
case.Safety

CAUTION
The use of poor-quality fuels may result
in harmful engine deposits or damage. Addij
tionally, problems relating to drivability, startj ing and stalling, especially under certain envij
ronmental conditions such as high ambient
temperature and high altitude, may occur.
If drivability problems are encountered, we recj
ommend switching to a high quality gasoline brand and a higher octane grade n AKI numjber n for a few tank fills. To avoid harmful enj
gine deposits, it is highly recommended to
purchase gasoline from Top Tier retailers.
Failure to comply with these recommendations
may result in the need for unscheduled mainj

mum quality can compromise engine function or cause engine damage. There is a risk ofdamage to property. Do not fill with fuel that

To be able to establish the drive-ready state as
usual, there must be an adequate amount of diesel exhaust fluid.
Diesel exhaust fluid can be refilled at any time.
Diesel exhaust fluid is available at many gas
stations.
If possible, refill diesel exhaust fluid using a
fuel pump, refer to page 265.
