Hold Principle
This
system
provides
assistance

the
brake,

prevented when
driving
off.
General The
parking
brake
is
automatically
applied
if
thefollowing
conditions
are
met:
'xDrive-ready
state
is
switched
off.'xThe
driver's
door
is
opened
with
the
vehicle
at
a
standstill.'xThe
parking
brake
is
used
to
brake
to
a
standstill
during
the
journey.
Display
The
indicator
lamp
changes
from
green
to
red.
Safety
notes
WARNING
An
unsecured
vehicle
can
start
moving
and
rollj ing
away.
There
is
a
danger
of
accidents.
Bej

leaving
the
vehicle,
secure
it
to
prevent
it
from
rolling
away.
Observe
the
