® 2.0 interface
allows you to make hands-free calls, if youchoose to use the cellular phone while driving, you must not allow yourself to be distracted from the safe operation of yourvehicle. Anything, including cellular phone usage, that di
stracts you from the
safe operation of your vehicle increasesyour risk of an accident.
 Refer to and comply with all state and local laws in your area regarding cellular phone usage while driving.NOTE
 If the ignition switch is left in the “ACC” position, the accessory power will automati- cally turn off after a
certain period of time
and you will no longer be able to use the Bluetooth
® 2.0 interface. The accessory
power comes on again if the ignition switchis turned from the “ACC” position. Refer to “ACC power auto-cutout function” on page 5-53.  The Bluetooth
® 2.0 interface cannot be used
if the Bluetooth
® device has a dead battery

1. Stop your vehicle in a safe area, put the shift lever (manual transaxle) in the “N” (Neutral) position, or the selector lever{continuously variable transmission(CVT)} in the “P” (PARK) position and pull the parking brake lever. 2. Press the SPEECH button. 3. Say “Pair Device.”
4. The voice guide will say “Start pairing procedure on the device. See the device manual for instructions.” and then willsay “The pairing code is .”

6. The voice guide will say “Please say the name of the device after the beep.” You can assign a desired name for the Blue- tooth
® device and register it as a device
tag. Say the name you want to register after the beep.
7. The voice guide will say “Pairing Com- plete. Would you like to import the con- tacts from your mobile device now?” Answer “Yes,” and the voice guide willsay “Please wait while the contacts are imported. This may take several minutes.” Answer “No” to end the pairing process.
If your device requires a specific pairing code, you need to set the pairing code. Follow the procedures below. 1. Press the SPEECH button. 2. Say “Setup.”3. Say “Pairing Options.” 4. Say “Set Code.” 5. The voice guide will say “Do you wantthe pairing code to be random or fixed?” Say “Fixed.” 6. The voice guide will say “Please say a 4-digit pairing code.” Say a 4-digit number. 7. The voice guide will say “Pairing code set to .”When the confirmation function is on, the system will confirm whether the number said is acceptable. Answer “Yes.”Answer “No,” the system will return to Step 6.
 The pairing code entered here is only used for the Bluetooth

The above indicates the factory settings. You can personalize the air selection switch and air conditioning switch to match your per-sonal preferences.  While the engine coolant temperature is low, the temperature of the air from the heater will be cool/cold until the engine warms up, even if you have selected warm air with the dial.  When the temperature is set to the highest or the lowest setting under the AUTO opera-tion, the air selection and the air conditioning will be automatically changed as follows. • Quick Heating (When the temperature is set to the highest setting) Outside air will be introduced and the airconditioning will stop. In this case, manual operation is possible. • Quick Cooling (When the temperature is set to the lowest setting) Inside air will be recirculated and the airconditioning will operate. In this case, you cannot select outside air and turn the air conditioning off.
