ActivatingWith the engine running, press the Start/Stopbutton.
If the engine is not running and the ignition is
switched on, the system automatically activates the radio-ready state when the door is opened
if the lights are switched off or the daytime run~
ning lights are activated.
The radio-ready state remains active if, for in~
stance the ignition is automatically switched off
for the following reasons:'

Unattended children or animals can

Concept The rain sensor automatically controls the timebetween wipes depending on the intensity of
the rainfall.
General
information The sensor is located on the windshield, directly
in front of the interior mirror. Without the rain
sensor, the frequency of the wiper operation is preset.
Safety
information NOTE
If the rain sensor is activated, the wipers
can accidentally start moving in vehicle washes.
There is a risk of property damage. Deactivate
the rain sensor in vehicle washes. '
