Do not use the interior lights whendriving in the dark. Accidents couldhappen because the view may beobscured by interior lights.
Automatic turn off function (if
equipped)
The interior lights automatically turn
off approximately 20 minutes after the ignition switch is turned off.
If your vehicle is equipped with the
theft alarm system, the interior lights
automatically turns off approximately 3 seconds after the system is armed
stage.

comes on when a door is opened.
The lamps go out after approxi‐
mately 30 seconds.
- The map lamp and room lamp comes on for approximately 30
seconds when doors are unlocked
with a transmitter or smart key as
long as the doors are not opened.
- The map lamp and room lamp will stay on for approximately 20 mi‐
nutes if a door is opened with the
ignition switch in the ACC or
LOCK/OFF position.
- The map lamp and room lamp will stay on continuously if the door is
opened with the ignition switch inthe ON position.
- The map lamp and room lamp will go out immediately if the ignition
switch is changed to the ON posi‐
tion or all doors are locked.
- To turn off the DOOR mode, press the DOOR button (2) once again
(not pressed).

Fan speed control
The fan speed can be set to the desired
speed by pushing the fan speed control button.
The higher the fan speed is, the more
air is delivered.
Pressing the OFF button turns off the
fan.
Air conditioning
Press the A/C button to turn the air
conditioning system on (indicator light will illuminate). Press the button again
to turn the air conditioning system off.
OFF mode
Press the front blower OFF button to
turn off the front air climate control system. However, you can still operate
the mode and air intake buttons as long
as the ignition switch is in the ON posi‐
tion.

The difference be‐tween the temperature of the out‐side air and the windshield couldcause the outer surface of the wind‐shield to fog up, causing loss of visi‐bility. Defogging logic (if equipped)
To reduce the possibility of fogging up
the inside of the windshield, the air in‐ take or air conditioning are controlled
automatically according to certain con‐

To cancel or return to the defogging
logic, do the following.
Automatic climate control system
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Press the defrost button (
).
3. While pressing the air conditioning button (A/C), press the air intake
control button at least 5 times
within 3 seconds.
The indicator on the air intake button will blink 3 times. It indicates that the
defogging logic is canceled or returned
to the programmed status.
If the battery has been discharged or disconnected, it resets to the defog
logic status.
Auto defogging system (Only
for automatic climate control
system, if equipped)

Auto defogging reduces the possibility
of fogging up the inside of the wind‐ shield by automatically sensing the
moisture of inside the windshield.
This indicator illuminates when the auto defogging
system senses the moistureof inside the windshield andoperates.
If more moisture is in the vehicle, high‐

To cancel or reset the AutoDefogging System
Press the front windshield defroster
button for 3 seconds when the ignition
switch is in the ON position.
When the Auto Defogging System is canceled, ADS OFF symbol will blink 3
times and the ADS OFF will be displayed
on the climate control information screen.
When the Auto Defogging System is re‐
set, ADS OFF symbol will blink 6 times
without a signal.

The seat warmer is provided to warm
the front seats during cold weather. With the ignition switch in the ON posi‐
tion, push either of the switches to
warm the driver's seat or the front passenger's seat.
During mild weather or under condi‐
tions where the operation of the seat
warmer is not needed, keep the switches in the "OFF" position. • Each time you press the switch, the temperature setting of the seat will
change as follows: - Front seat

• The seat warmer defaults to the OFF
position whenever the ignition switch
is turned on.
NOTICE
With the seat warmer switch in the
ON position, the heating system in
the seat turns off or on automati‐

•When cleaning the seats, do notuse an organic solvent such aspaint thinner, benzene, alcohol andgasoline. Doing so may damagethe surface of the heater or seats.
•To prevent overheating the seatwarmer, do not place anything onthe seats that insulates againstheat, such as blankets, cushions orseat covers while the seat warmeris in operation.
•Do not place heavy or sharp ob‐jects on seats equipped with seatwarmers. Damage to the seatwarming components could occur.
•Do not change the seat cover. Itmay damage the seat warmer orairventilation system.
