WARNING
The engine cooling system is filled at the fac-
tory with a high-quality, year-round, antifreeze
coolant solution. The antifreeze solution con-
tains rust and corrosion inhibitors, therefore
additional cooling system additives are not
necessary.
•Never remove the radiator or coolant reser-
voir cap when the engine is hot. Wait until
the engine and radiator cool down. Serious
burns could be caused by high-pressure
fluid escaping from the radiator. For addi-

•The engine coolant reservoir tank is
equipped with a pressure type cap. To pre-
vent engine damage, use only a genuine
INFINITI pressure cap.
CAUTION
•Never use any cooling system additives
such as radiator sealer. Additives may clog
the cooling system and cause damage to
the engine, transmission and/or cooling
system.

checked. It is recommended that you visit an
INFINITI retailer for this service.
SELF-ADJUSTING BRAKES
Your vehicle is equipped with self-adjusting
brakes. The disc-type brakes self-adjust every
time the brake pedal is applied.Blown fuses must be replaced with fuses of the
same rating, which you can recognise by the
color and fuse rating. The fuse ratings are listed
in the fuse allocation chart.
If the newly inserted fuse also blows, have the
cause traced and rectified. It is recommended
you visit an INFINITI retailer for this service.
The fuses in your vehicle disconnect faulty
circuits. if a fuse blows, all the components on
the circuit and their functions will fail.
BEFORE REPLACING A FUSE
•Secure the vehicle against rolling away.
•Switch off all electrical consumers.
•Remove the key from the ignition lock.
The fuses are located in various fuse boxes:
•Fusebox in the engine compartment on the
left-hand side of the vehicle, when viewed in
the direction of travel.
•Fuse box in the front-passenger footwell.
The fuse allocation chart is on the fuse box in
the front-passenger footwell.

Never use a fuse of higher or lower amperage
rating than that specified on the fuse box
cover. This could damage the electrical system
or electronic control units or cause a fire.

1. Open the hood
2. Remove any existing moisture from the fusebox using a dry cloth
3. To open: open clamps

4. Fold cover
1up in the direction of the arrow
and remove it. To close:
1. Check whether the seal is lying correctly in
cover

2. Insert cover
1at the back into openings3on the fuse box. 3. Fold down cover

4. Hook clamps into the fuse box and close
5. Close the hood.

2. Remove the floor mats.
3. Fold out perforated floor covering

direction of the arrow. 4. To release cover
3press retaining clamp
