uuAdjusting the Seats uArmrest
Controls
Armrest
The console lid can be used as an armrest.
To adjust:
Slide the armrest to desired position.
Pull down the armrest in the center backrest.
■Using the Front Seat Armrest
■Using the Rear Seat Armrest*

Interior Lights
■ON
The interior lights come on regardless of
whether the doors are open or closed.
■Door activated
The interior lights come on in the following
situations:
• When any doors are opened.
• You unlock the driver’s door.
• You remove the key from the ignition
switch.
• When the power mode is set to VEHICLE
OFF (LOCK).
■OFF
The interior lights remain off regardless of
whether the doors are open or closed.

In the door activated position, the interior lights fade out
and go off about 30 seconds after the doors are closed.
The lights go off after 30 seconds in the following
situations:
•When you unlock the driver’s door but do not open it.
•When you remove the key from the ignition switch
but do not open a door.
•When you set the power mode to VEHICLE OFF
(LOCK) but do not open a door.
You can change the interi or lights dimming time.

The interior lights go off i mmediately in the following
situations:
•When you lock the driver’s door.
•When you close the driver’s door with the key in
the ignition switch.
•When you turn the ignition switch to ON ( w.
•When you close the driver’s door in ACCESSORY
mode.
•When you set the power mode to ON.
If you leave any of the doors open in VEHICLE OFF
(LOCK) mode, or without the key in the ignition
switch, the interior li ghts go off after about 15
minutes.

pressing the lenses.

console. It includes a storage compartment,
an armrest, and a sliding tray

Slide the armrest to the rearmost position. Pull
the handle to open th e console compartment.
You can put small items in the sliding tray

located in the console compartment lid. Slide
the sliding tray forward or rearward.
You can create more storage space by
removing the removable beverage holder tray
and a divider.

Are located in the console between the front
seats. u Move the armrest rearward to use the
beverage holders.
To place a short beverage container:
Move the removable beverage holder tray
forward.
To place a tall beverage container: Move
the removable beverage holder tray rearward.
■Rear seat beverage holders*
Fold the armrest down to use the rear seat
beverage holders.

NOTICE
Spilled liquids ca n damage the upholstery, carpeting,
and electrical components in the interior.
Be careful when you are us ing the beverage holders.
Hot liquid can scald you.

Open the cover to use it.
*1: Models with the smart entry system have an ENGINE START/STOP button instead of an
ignition switch.

Do not insert an automotive type cigarette lighter
element: The power socket can overheat.
The accessory power socket is designed to supply
power for 12 volt DC access ories that are rated 180
watts (15 amps) or less.
To prevent battery drain, use the power socket only
when the engine is running.
