Carefully pull out the tail light from the
body toward the front, arrow 2. Ensure that the wiring is not damaged.4.Pull the plug out of the bulb holder andhave the tail light wiring hang outside.
Replacing
the
bulbs
1.Loosen the three fasteners, arrow 1, on the
bulb holder.
Remove the bulb holder from the tail light, arrow 2.2.Press the nonworking bulb gently into thesocket, turn counterclockwise and remove.'yUpper bulb: turn signal.'yLower bulb: brake light.3.Proceed in the reverse order to insert thenew bulb and attach the bulb holder. Make
sure that the bulb holder engages in all fasj
teners.Installing
the
tail
light1.Connect the plug and mount the wiring on
the tail light, arrow 1.2.Place the tail light with the tab, arrow 2, on
the mounting point of the body and push
onto both of the threaded bolt.3.Press on the tail lights until flush and tighten both of the nuts.4.Mount the cover. Make sure that the plasjtic tabs of the cover are correctly seated in
the corresponding recesses of the body.

are no longer displayed.

Make sure that the battery is always suffij

remains usable for its full service life.
A discharged battery is indicated by a

If the electrical system has failed, clearly idenj
tify the vehicle being towed by placing a sign or a warning triangle in the rear window.

If the approved gross vehicle weight of
the towing vehicle is lighter than the vehicle to be towed, the tow fitting can tear off or it willnot be possible to control the vehicle's rej
sponse. There is a risk of an accident! Make
sure that the gross vehicle weight of the towj
ing vehicle is heavier than the vehicle to be towed.'
