Concept
Two different driver's seat, exterior mirror and steering wheel positions can be stored per driver profile, refer to page 42, and called up.
Settings for the backrest width and lumbar
support are not stored in memory.

Using the memory function while driving
can lead to unexpected movements of the
seat. Vehicle control could be lost. There is a
risk of an accident. Only retrieve the memory function when the vehicle is stationary.'

mirrors
General
information The mirror on the passenger side is more
curved than the driver's side mirror.
The mirror setting is stored for the driver proj
file currently in use. When the vehicle is unj
locked via the remote control, the position is
automatically retrieved if the function, refer to page 45, is activated for this purpose.
Safety
information WARNING
Objects reflected in the mirror are closer
than they appear. The distance to the traffic
behind could be incorrectly estimated, e.g.,
while changing lanes. There is a risk of an accij dent. Estimate the distance to the traffic bej
hind by looking over your shoulder.'

Fold the mirrors in and out is advantageous in the following situations:'yIn vehicle washes.'yOn narrow roads.'yFor folding mirrors back out that werefolded away manually.

heating Both exterior mirrors are automatically heated
whenever the engine is running.

med. Photocells in the interior mirror are used
to control this.

Pay attention to the operating and safety inforj mation of the child restraint system manufacjturer when installing and using LATCH child
restraint fixing systems.
Mounts

the
lower
LATCH
anchors The lower anchors may be used to attach the
CRS to the vehicle seat up to a combined child and CRS weight of 65 lb/30 kg when the child
is restrained by the internal harnesses.

If the LATCH child restraint fixing sysj
tems are not correctly engaged, the protective
effect of the LATCH child restraint fixing sysj
tem can be limited. There is a risk of injuries or
danger to life. Make sure that the lower anj
chors are securely engaged and that the
LATCH child restraint fixing system fits sej curely against the backrest.'

Mounting
points The respective symbol shows the anjchor for the upper retaining strap.
Seats with an upper top tether are
marked with this symbol. It can be found on
the rear seat backrest or the rear window shelf.
