Make sure that the cover is securely installed in its original position.

■ Checking battery fluid (batteries with vent plugs)
Check that the level is between
the “MAX” and “MIN” lines.
“MAX” line
“MIN” line
If the fluid level is at or below the
“MIN” line, add distilled water.
■ Adding distilled water (batteries with vent plugs)
Remove the vent plug.
Add distilled water.
If the “MAX” line cannot be seen, check the fluid level by looking
directly at the cell.
Put the vent plug back on and close it securely.

When replacing the light bulbs
■ When replacing the following bulbs:
● Headlight (halogen headlights)
● Front position light/daytime running light (halogen headlights)
● Front turn signal light
■ Before replacing the bulbs
Left side
Remove the upper part of the air cleaner duct.
Remove the securing clip.
Move the upper part of the air
cleaner duct forward and
back.
Remove the duct part while
turning it.
After replacing the bulbs, make
sure to firmly install the upper part
of the air cleaner duct and secure
it with the clip.
