Customers may request emergency assis-
tance by pressing the dedicated
key in the
vehicle. This action transmits vehicle information
and location to specially trained response spe-
cialists, who will then assist in coordinating the
dispatch of appropriate emergency assistance
to the customer.
The response specialist remains on the line
with the customer until advised assistance
has arrived.
Stolen Vehicle Recovery
In the event a customer’s vehicle is reported
stolen (and a stolen vehicle report has been
filed with the appropriate police department),
the response center can provide assistance
to the police in an attempt to recover the
vehicle.
Vehicle Immobilization
Used with Stolen Vehicle Recovery, this
enables law enforcement to send a signal
to the vehicle which immobilizes the engine
management system, thus preventing
startup. This capability is only valid when
the ignition is off, but can be saved for later
immobilization if the vehicle is on or in
motion at the time of signal transmission.
Vehicle Slowdown
Used with Stolen Vehicle Recovery, this
enables law enforcement to gradually
reduce the engine power of the vehicle, thus
slowing it down to safe levels. A warning
shall be transmitted to the driver prior to the
slowdown procedure.

1. Press the key on the Rear View Mirror
to connect with the Blue Link Center.
2. Once connection is established, request
the desired POI information through voice
recognition to the Blue Link Center.
3. Once the request is completed,
The requested POI information will be
downloaded and displayed on the screen.
Downloading POIs through the
Owner’s Website
1. Visit the Blue Link website
(www.myhyundai.com) to search for
desired POI information to send to your
vehicle.
2. After transmission is complete, the follow-
ing POI downloaded message is displayed
the next time you turn on your vehicle.
3. Select the Ye s button to check the infor-
mation of downloaded POIs.

Alerts
Parts replacement/inspection alerts are
also provided regularly through the website,
emails and text messages.
Automated DTC (Diagnostic Trouble
Code) Notification
This feature provides an explanation and
repair assistance using vehicle data and off-
board diagnosis capabilities. Through a com-
bination of in-vehicle display alerts and guided
voice messages, the owner will get additional
instructions and what to do next. This informa-
tion is automatically sent to the owner`s pre-
ferred dealer to assist with the repair process.
