Do not connect USB memory or operate the controls.
NOTICE
If the glove box cannot be fully closed
Depending on the size and shape of the USB memory that is connected to
the system, the glove box may not close fully. In this case, do not try to forc-
ibly close the glove box, as this may damage the USB memory or the termi-
nal, etc. Remove the USB memory, and use a different USB memory with a
size and shape that allows the glove box to close fully when connected to
the system.
To prevent damage to USB memory
Do not leave USB memory in the vehicle. The temperature inside the vehi-
cle may become high, resulting in damage to the player.
Do not push down on or apply unnecessary pressure to the USB memory
while it is connected as this may damage the USB memory or its terminal.
Do not insert foreign objects into the port as this may damage the USB
memory or its terminal.

Adjusting the temperature setting
To adjust the temperature set-
ting, turn the temperature con-
trol dial clockwise or
counterclockwise.
If is not pressed, the sys-
tem will blow ambient tempera-
ture air or heated air.
Adjusting the temperature for driver and passenger seats sep-
arately (“DUAL” mode)
To turn on the “DUAL” mode, perform any of the following proce-
dure:

Adjust the passenger’s side temperature setting.
The indicator comes on when the “DUAL” mode is on.
To turn off the “DUAL” mode, press the switch again. Cooling and dehumidification

Defogging the windshield
Defoggers are used to defog the windshield and front side win-
dows.
Press .
Set the outside/recirculated air mode button to outside mode if recircu-
lated air mode is used. (It may switch automatically.)
To defog the windshield and the side windows early, turn the air flow and
temperature up.
To return to the previous mode, press again when the windshield
is defogged.
Defogging the rear window and outside rear view mirrors
Vehicles with a rear window defogger
Defogger is used to defog the rear window.

The defogger will automatically turn off after a period of time.

Defoggers are used to defog the rear window, and to remove rain-
drops, dew and frost from the outside rear view mirrors.
