And never use an outlet that isworn, damaged, or will not hold the plugfirmly. Doing so could cause fire, an elec-tric shock, or
short circuit.
zPay attention to the following for handlingthe EV charging cable.Damage to the cable could cause a fire,electric shock,
or short circuit.
•Do not drop the cable or do not givestrong impact to it.•Do not pull with undue force.•Do not twist.•Do not drag.•Do not put an object on top.•Do not put the cable close to a heatingunit including heater.CAUTIONzDo not connect the normal charge cable to anoutlet that has a lower rating than the currentvalue described
on the control box.
NOTE
zAll indicators are illuminated momentarilyfor confirming operation when the chargingcable plug is inserted into an outlet. Afterthat the POWER indicator and the CHARG-ING indicator is continuously illuminated.zThe CHARGING indicator will start to blinkwhen the charging is completed. ThePOWER indicator is continuously illumi-nated while the charging cable plug isinserted into an outlet.WA R N I N G
Handling and storing the con-trol box
CAUTIONzWhile charging, prevent damage to the con-trol box by attaching a rope as shown in thefollowing illustration.NOTE

1. Before replacing a fuse, always turn offthe electrical circuit concerned and put theoperation mode of the power switch inOFF.
2. Remove the fuse puller (A) from theinside of the main fuse block cover in theengine compartment.3. Referring to the fuse load capacity table,check the fuse pertaining to the problem.
