Visibility
An audible signal when a front door is opened warns the driver that the vehicle's exterior lighting is on, with theignition off and in manual lighting mode. In this case, switching off the lighting stops the audible signal.
With the ignition off, if the dipped headlamps remain on, the vehicle goes into "ECO" mode to avoid discharging the battery.

In some weather conditions (e.g. low temperature or humidity), the presence of misting on the internal sur face of theglass of the headlamps and rear lampsis normal; it disappears after the lamps have been on for a few minutes.

Daytime lighting, compulsory in cer tain
countries, which comes on automatically when
the engine is star ted making the vehicle more
visible to other road users.
Daytime running lamps

This function is assured:


- in countries where it is imposed by
regulations, by illumination of the dippedbeam headlamps with the sidelamps and number plate lamps.

- for other countries where it is provided, by
the use of dedicated lamps.

This function can be activatedor deactivated via the vehicleconfiguration menu.



The lighting goes off when you switchoff the ignition, but you can always switch it on again using the lighting control stalk.

LED lamps
They come on when the engine is started.Depending on the destination country, they are used for:
- daytime running lamps *
in day mode andsidelamps in night mode (they are brighter
when daytime running lamps),
or
- sidelamps in day and night mode.
Where LED lamps are fitted, the filament bulbs

ytime running lamps / sidelamps in
the front lamp units are not used.

Automatic adjustment of xenon headlamps
To avoid causing a nuisance to other road
users, the beams of the halogen headlamps should be adjusted according to the load in the
vehicle.1 Driver 2

, this warning lamp is displayedin the instrument panel,
accompanied by an audible signal and a
message in the instrument panel screen.
The s
ystem then places your headlamps in the lowest position.
In order to avoid causing a nuisance to other road users, this system corrects the height of the
xenon headlamps beam automatically and when
stationary, in relation to the load in the vehicle.

If a fault occurs, do not touch the xenonbulbs. Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.


The initial setting is position "0".

For H7 type bulbs with lugs... take care toobserve their correct installation so as to ensure the best lighting performance.

Before doing any work on your vehicle,switch off the ignition ( Ready
lamp off)to avoid any risk of injury resulting fromautomatic operation of the engine.

Practical information

The headlamps are fitted with
polycarbonate glass with a protectivecoating:)do not clean them using a dry or abrasive cloth, nor with a detergent or solvent product,)
use a sponge and soapy water or apH neutral product,)
when using a high pressure washer on persistent marks, do not keep the lance directed towards thelamps or their edges for too long, so as not to damage their protectivecoating and seals. Changing a bulb should only be done after the headlamp has been switchedoff for a few minutes (risk of serious burns).)
Do not touch the bulb directly with your fingers, use a lint-free cloth. It is imperative to use only anti-ultraviolet (UV) type bulbs to avoiddamaging the headlamp. Always replace a failed bulb with a
new bulb with the same type andspecification.
Risk of electrocution
Xenon bulbs (D1S-35W) must bereplaced by a PEUGEOT dealer or aqualified workshop.









Dipped and main beamheadlamps (xenon model)

D1S xenon bulbs must be changedby a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualifiedworkshop, as there is a risk of electrocution.
It is recommended that the D1S bulbsare changed at the same time when oneof them fails.
Direction indicators (Xenonmodel)

Daytime running lamps

For the replacement of these light-emitting diode (LED) lamps, contacta PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.

)Turn the wheel fully inwards for easyaccess to the wheel arch liner. )Remove the two fixing screws for the access flap, located in the wheel arch. )Pull away the wheel arch liner.
) Turn the bulb holder a quar ter of a turn and
pull it out. ) Disconnect the bulb holder connector. )
Pull the bulb and change it.
For reassembly, carry out these operations in reverse order.
