Rear parking sensors
Activation
This detects any obstacle (person, vehicle,
tree, gate, etc.) behind the vehicle, except
obstacles located just below the bumper.The s
ystem is activated as soon as reversegear is engaged, accompanied by an audible
signal. The proximity information is given by:
- an audible signal, which becomes morerapid as the vehicle approaches the obstacle.
- a graphic (according to version) in the
multi
function screen, with blocks whichbecome increasingly closer to the vehicle.
On completion of the manoeuvre, when you exit
reverse gear, the system becomes inactive.
An object, such as a stake, a roadworks cone or any other similar object may bedetected at the beginning of themanoeuvre, but may no longer be detectedwhen the vehicle comes close to it.
The parking sensor system cannot, in any circumstances, take the place of the vigilance and responsibility of thedriver. S

Wh
en the distance between the rear of the
vehicle and the obstacle is less than thir ty centimetres, the audible signal becomes continuous and the "Danger" symbol appearsin the multifunction screen.

You can activate or deactivate the system by means of the multifunction screen configuration
menu. The system state is memorised when switching off the ignition.
For more information on access to the parkingsensors menu, refer to "Configuration / Vehicleparameters" in the "Multifunction screens"section corresponding to your screen.
Operating faults
If there is an operating fault, when
reverse gear is engaged this
warning lamp comes on in the
instrument panel, accompanied b
yan audible signal (short beep) and a
message in the multifunction screen.
Programming
The system will be deactivated automatically when towing a trailer or when a bicycle carrier is fitted (vehiclefitted with a towbar or bicycle carrier recommended by CITROËN).
In bad or wintry weather, ensure thatthe sensors are not covered with mud,frost or snow.

Reversing camera
when reverse gear is engaged.
The colour image is provided in the navigationscreen.
The reversing camera cannot in any circumstances be a substitute for thevigilance and responsibility of the driver.
Clean the reversing camera regularly using a soft, dry cloth.
The space between the blue lines represents
the width of your vehicle except for the door
mirrors.
The blue lines represent the general direction of the vehicle.
The red line represents a distance of about
30 cm beyond the edge of your vehicle's
rear bumper. The audible signal becomes
continuous from this limit.
The green lines represent distances of about 1
and 2 metres beyond the edge of your vehicle's
rear bumper.
