Display items can be switched
by pushing the “DISP” switch.
Outside temperature
Driving range
Displays the outside air temperature.
The temperature range that can be displayed is
from -40C (-40F) to 50C (122F).
When the temperature drops to 3C (37F), the digits
of the display will flash for 10 seconds.
Displays the estimated maximum distance that
can be driven with the quantity of fuel remain-
ing.
• This distance is computed based on your aver-
age fuel consumption. As a result, the actual
distance that can be driven may differ from that
displayed.
• When only a small amount of fuel is added to
the tank, the display may not be updated.
When refueling, turn the “ENGINE START
STOP” switch off. If the vehicle is refueled
without turning the “ENGINE START STOP”
switch off, the display may not be updated.

Average vehicle speedDisplays the average fuel consumption since the
function was reset.
• The function can be reset by pushing the
“DISP” switch for longer than one second when
the average fuel consumption is displayed.

a reference.
Displays the average fuel consumption since the
vehicle was last refueled.
Use the displayed average fuel consumption as a

Displays the current rate of fuel consumption.
Displays the average vehicle speed since the
engine was started or the function was reset.
The function can be reset by pushing the “DISP”
switch for longer than one second when the aver-
age vehicle speed is displayed.

CAUTION
The information display at low temperatures
Allow the interior of the vehicle to warm up before using the liquid crystal
information display. At extremely low temperatures, the information display
monitor may respond slowly, and display changes may be delayed.
For example, there is a lag between the driver's downshifting and the new
gear number appearing on the display. In this case, wait until the display
changes and take care not to downshift again, causing rapid and excessive
engine braking and possibly an accident resulting in death or serious injury.

Headlight switch

With the headlights on, push

Daytime running light system
To make your vehicle more visible to other drivers, the front posi-
tion lights turn on automatically (at a increased intensity) when-
ever the engine is started. Daytime running lights are not designed
for use at night.

“DRL OFF” turns on when the daytime running light is deacti-
vated.
Headlight control sensor
Automatic light off system
When the light switch is in : The headlights turn off automatically
if the “ENGINE START STOP” switch is switched to ACCESSORY
mode or turned OFF.
When the light switch is in “AUTO”: The headlights and tail lights turn
off automatically if the “ENGINE START STOP” switch is switched to
ACCESSORY mode or turned OFF and the driver's door is opened.
To turn the lights on again, switch to IGNITION ON mode, or turn the light
switch off once and then back to

The sensor may not function properly if
an object is placed on the sensor, or any-

Light reminder buzzer
A buzzer sounds when the “ENGINE START STOP” switch is turned OFF
or switched to ACCESSORY mode and the driver's door is opened while the
lights are turned on.
Automatic headlight leveling system
The level of the headlights is automatically adjusted according to the num-
ber of passengers and the loading condition of the vehicle to ensure that the
headlights do not interfere with other road users.
Customization that can be configured at any authorized Lexus dealer or
repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional

Effects of vehicle speed on wiper operation
With the settings other than “AUTO” also, the time until drip prevention
wiper sweep occurs is changed depending on vehicle speed.
Low speed wiper operation selected, wiper operation will be switched from
low speed to intermittent wiper operation only when the vehicle is station-
ary.
“AUTO” mode
If the wiper switch is turned to the “AUTO” position while the
“ENGINE START STOP” switch is in IGNITION ON mode, the wiper
will operate once to show that auto mode is activated.
If the temperature of the raindrop sensor is 90C (194F) or higher, or -
30C (-22F) or lower, automatic operation may not occur. In this case,
operate the wipers in any mode other than “AUTO”.
Outside rear view mirror defogger activation linked to windshield wiper
operation
The outside rear view mirror defogger automatically turns on when you
operate the windshield wipers.

Headlight cleaner switch
The headlight cleaner can be operated when

headlight switch is turned on.
Windshield washer linked operation
Only for the first time when the windshield washer is operated after the
“ENGINE START STOP” switch is turned to IGNITION ON mode with the
headlights on, the headlight cleaners will also operate once. (P. 176)
NOTICE
When the washer fluid tank is empty
Do not use this function when the washer fluid tank is empty. This may
cause the washer fluid pump to overheat.
Washer fluid can be sprayed on the headlights.
Press the switch to clean the
headlights.
